I think it will be good to open the 2018/2019 discussion thread. This thread will give us an up-to-date information regarding UNILAG Postgraduate program.

Anyone who is interested should come in and help others with information and other relevant documents.

Information concerning estimated form fee, school fees, duration of the program for various courses, accommodation inside and outside the school should be shared immediately. We need to help each other at this point. Forms were last sold for N22,500, I do not know how much it will be this year, but it shouldn't go beyond that same amount.

I have much information to share concerning MBA and M.Sc Economics.

Hello olaolu39, please I am interested in a Masters degree course and I am torn between MBA finance and M.Sc Finance (both part time). Could you shed some light on the differences between both and their potential with regards to career. Secondly, could an accounting graduate enroll for M.Sc Econs (part time)? Thirdly, does Unilag offer any Masters degree in Strategy? Please no vex for my plenty questions.

MSC Finance is an academic masters that can lead you to apply for PHD subsequently. It has a limited working attraction ina corporate environment when compared with MBA. Therefore, for a working class, i will advise you go for MBA.


There is no masters degree in Strategy, MBA has covered most of these

Economics M.SC accepts Bachelors degree from Economics, Banking and Finance

It is a fultime course
It has a good prospect for graduates in Biological sciences
That is why it is competitive
Last years'cut off is 65, higher than big courses such as MBA FT, Mathematics, Economics.

Tuition is less than 100k asides obligatory fees.
Lecture days is Monday to Friday
