bedspread: Most times, it depends on the deal you got from the ticket vendor I agree with you, though I'm not really knowledgeable about any rules or laws guiding long layovers, I'm just speculating. I have been lodged before, but it wasn't the case of long layovers, rather my connecting flight was delayed for 7 hours or so, the airline operators was Fly Emirates |

All this prayer of God will do it for me too, just to get a visa to visit Europe? Funny people, you think Europe is some kind of heavenly paradise, you Nigerians are something else. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I understand you very much and believe that this narrative must change. We must begin to see raw materials and it's entire value chain. And regardless of obstacles, build generational businesses peacengine: 2 Likes |

planetx: it's not a heavenly paradise, but am organised society What Nigeria will not be in 20 years, what am i saying 20 years? in 50 years A country where its leaders are commissioning borehole, street lights, mangoes, shoe makes kits and the list goes on Yea I get it that Europe is overhyped, but hey, Africa/Nigeria is FAR FAR FAR FAR behind so you cannot blame people for the hype they give Europe 9 Likes 1 Share |

Jonra: do you know that many of these guys come here with credit lines (Indians and Chinese especially) You think they come bare chested? I'm not making excuses for Nigerians, but they are fighting from a disadvantaged point. Who will extend line of credit to you? Even if you get the credit (mission impossible) at what interest rate? You can't compete with someone with single digit interest rates financing when you are paying almost 25% It's not going to happen The Nigerian govt should open up access to credit lines at affordable rates like it is done in China A whole lot of dynamics work against us there But one must keep trying and forging ahead, despite the disadvantage 2 Likes |
