We have 5 months before February election. Anticipation of q4 result usually push the stock price high. Every quoted company in NSE are expected to release their final year result on or before 31st March every year. Investors and traders usually take position starting from November ahead of time. But this year position taking will be different, because of anticipation of change of government, which will likely take place. Our money might be out of market, but we are not completely out of market. Research must be ongoing to know the companies with good result, so that one will take position during January/February election bonanza period. As far as am concern, now is not a good time to buy, because majority of good stocks will still lose weight, Q3 result will not stop the bear this year, but it will help the bull return next year once after election. 1 Like |

...I don't know how to reply some people on this platform as I don't want to be rude. As much as I am not an epitome of knowledge, I don't need anybody's advise on what stock to pick or sell and you are not under any obligation to follow my stock recommendation. The fact that I asked a question doesn't mean I don't understand what cross-deals are. I have no reason to mislead anybody here. If you have unity bank to sell at 0.86Kobo, caverton @1.88, I am willing to buy from you. We all have our investment objectives! 7 Likes 1 Share |

I totally agree with you! These penny stocks would only give you paper profit. That is why you'd never find asset management companies buying them. We focus on the 30 most liquid stocks on the NSE! wanaj0: 1 Like |

sillysassysally:Do you think any stock is ILLIQUID? I don't think so. It is the brokers that make a stock liquid or illiquid. Observe that when a stock is gaining maximum daily, only small quantities (volumes)are traded. But when it comes to free fall or bailing out time, maximum quantities (volumes) are traded. Take note of the bolded and observe henceforth. 1 Like |

There are tons of reasons people don't buy penny stocks 1. They are illiquid. 2. There is literally little to no coverage on them. Research houses don't post earnings updates on them or carry out any valuation on them 3. When stock markets fall in panic, small-cap stocks fall harder because they're riskier giving their illiquid nature 4. There is this general market perception that a slowdown in the economy will hit the earnings of small companies more, even putting a question mark on their very survival. Large companies can even manage to survive in difficult times because of their scale-advantage. If you are imagining or waiting for someone with 30million to put the stock on full bid, YOU ARE OYO! @all - digging out someone's stock pick especially when it doesn't come to pass is not good. The person that made the prediction may have made it from its own perception of the market as at the time, which can change even in the next hour due to the volatility of the market. I want to reiterate that no one is perfect about stock pick, you can only speculate based on your perception (TA, FA, candle, stick, chart & Hope) of that particular stock. Once again, let us desist from digging peoples' post. it looks more to me like mocking that person. Rather, we should be more diplomatic in our approach to such picks even if we did not agree with it, as no one is under obligation to dish out any stock recommendation, but based on the common purpose we all share on the forum, which is to make the best out of the market. cc: chibuking81, mendes911, Cadillac15 With due respect please. 2 Likes |
