My humble attention has been drawn, concerning the defection of Sen. God'swill Akpabio from the People Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressive Congress (APC).

I was having a wonderful day until a friend of mine called with great excitement in his voice telling me that Sen. God'swill Akpabio has successfully decamped to All Progressive Congress (APC).

Very hilarious................. Isn't it?

How will the great people of Akwa Ibom State benefit from his defection....... Rather its will bring more woe and problems to our dear state.

All of a sudden he became a sycophant to All Progressive Congress(APC) - the same party he ridiculed and even vow never to join.

What could possibly be the reason behind his defection rather than cupidity and being politically relevant in the country probably eyeing a senate president sit.

I had always venerated Sen. God'swill Akpabio even when he was the governor but now I have come to fathom the fact that he suddenly decamped inorder not to face the wrath of Dictator Buhari and EFCC - [ when you're a member of the PDP?.......... You're labeled a corrupt, theif and looters but when you decamp to APC you become corrupt free]

"Imagine how the present government is" fighting corruption!

Now Akpabio wants the People Democratic Party to relinquish power to All Progressive Congress in the state, he has now contrived with the ruling party to ruin Akwa Ibom State.

Who would have thought of this odium back in 2015

When he introduced Governor Udom Emmanuel to the people of Akwa Ibom State rhetorically also canvassing for supporters and campaigning to make sure he was elected, has all of a sudden become loath instead of being a liberal mentor and a father to the State.

Maybe all this happened because the Governor refused to remain in his pocket after he squandered the state fund to live an affluent life with his family.

[ I could still remember when Akpabio said that Governor Udom Emmanuel was the right man to continue the progress of the state.

" Everybody sang........ Udom is right and fair"

The funniest of all ( what do you know....... I know God'swill Akpabio, he was a great teacher who taught Udom Emmanuel all over the street and radio).

[ All of a sudden what happened??]

Eachday i get worried and my worry is how the young people are going to go through this political problem... Young people are often excluded or overlooked but they foolishly keep on being mendicant and political followers from one party to another.

The most harried of all is that most of the Youth keeps supporting these politicians due to selfish interest, one even told me that Akpabio gives more money than Udom.

Some youth are being used as a weapon to vilify the government by opposition leaders like Akpabio now, John. Udoedehe, Nsima Ekere and others - the same Udoedehe, Senator Akpabio wrestle with during 2011 governorship election to the extent the then opposition party supporters destroyed cars and property worth millions of naira.

But Akpabio has now merge alliance with them with the aim of destroying Akwa Ibom State.

But one amazing thing they fail to realize is that Akwa Ibom State has always been a PDP state whether Akpabio likes it or not, we cannot allow our state to be ruled by cabal.

Despite all their efforts, Akwa Ibom State and the People Democratic Party will always remain lofty and puissant in the state.

Finally Sen. Akpabio traitorous attitude will only leave a rancor from his fervent supporters.

So I'm urging the Youth to get their PVCs inorder to exercise their suffrage comes 2019.

It's not all about APC or PDP neither Akpabio or Udom, but the benefit of all Akwa Ibom citizens.

Forget the juicy carrots they will promise and remain liberal.

Vote Wisely!
Don't fight or kill for any politician, because he will always forget you when he gets there.

Advice: Politics is like a football players in a pitch with a target of winning, even if they fight in the process they will still settle between themselves Akpabio, Udoedehe, Nsima and Umana Okon Umana is an example.

Actually,apc is pound wise penny foolish while pdp is the other way round.akabio's aides alone are even more than 1000.the 1000 that defected cant give up to 5000 votes.who among them can be compared to nsima ekere? Oron is naturally an apc stronghold and remains so.where were those 1000 when akpabio rigged oron votes for pdp in 2015? Even if pdp arrange 50,000 to defect,it cant equal akpabio's defection
