The word fufu is not native to Nigeria, it's a Ghanaian word.

ogiri/ogili is an igbo word

I'm not doubting the origin though, in Liberia they call it foofoo.

What we fail to understand is the origin of some words predates most Nigerian tribes.

Lots of Igbo’s went to Jamaica. That’s true. So did Yoruba’s too. I think more Igbo’s though. There are Yoruba towns like Abeokuta in Jamaica. Akara is a Yoruba word, and Akara Aje or Akaraje simply means Akara meant for sale or meant for the market to make money. It’s not Igbekere but Ipekere. Just like Boli, a Yoruba word has now become Bole!

It's actually 'Igbekere' and it's native to Odogbolu, though it's now called 'Ipekere' just as we have now added 'k' to 'Ponmo' and 'h' to 'tatase' and removed 'n' from moin-moin.

Anyways, Yoruba are blessed with words in our language, we even have 2 to 3 different words for same thing while some people don't have even 1 and have to burrow and then pretend to forget it's not theirs.

Examples are

Old / New / English

Aya / Iyawo /wife
Baale / Oko / husband
Oole / moin-moin/ bean soufle
Iye / Iya/ mama / mom
Iba / baba / father
Ipeku / apoti/ box seat
Ile iwe / ile eko / school
Orisun / ibere / beginning
Sun / ke / cry
Bo / de / arrive
Eke / iro / lie
Ooyo / ewedu / jute
Odukun / anamo / sweet potato
Omu / Oyan/ breast
Inu / Ikun / stomach
Oka / Agbado / corn
Ewu / Aso / Clothes
Iwogbe / Jigi / Mirror

It must be really hard for you since you rarely have one word in your language for most of what I listed, let alone get two or three names for them like Yoruba. Na so so burrow burrow words fill your knockoff language.

Just say you are lost, word is different from language, iddiot! And again I don't expect you to know the the difference since half of words in your language are not yours. You are so short of words in your language, you even had to burrow 'Abacha' from the north to name your food. At least my forefathers had the foresight to create free education that you dumbasses had to suspend regionalism to get a headway, since you have no integrity to develop on your own without Awolowo free education, that your useless fathers still took advantage of to know how to write your names. What a cop out, you damp imbecille. You already know you don't have a come back to save your life, and yes I repeat, you don't have enough words in your bastardised version of bit-here-bit-there from other people's languages you now call yours.

I'm surprised I still remember some of these words after many years, I guess that's the benefits of living with grandparents.

When your backward forefathers couldn't provide you education but still came to benefit from mine. Down syndrome is nothing to mock people about but since you brought it up, I'll suggest you check Igbos population and see the highest number of people with the disease.

Language beggar, you haven't finished using all the words you burrowed yet, use those up first before your ungrateful sick self ask for more.

Of course I can NEVER be Igbo and no one would. Igbos are the number 1 ritualist, skull planters, cannibals, kidnappers, armed robbers and every crime known to man. Even rape is your export as igboland is the fistula capital of the world. In one month alone go and check the number of people killed in your region in the news, over 70% of national average and this is the news that managed to get out to the public, countless others don't get reported. You have killed more people in the history of Nigeria, it's no wonder your blood soaked erosion mud land can no longer support you, it's falling apart under your feet and about to swallow you.

Lying bastardd! Are you saying that all the people you killed are for fun, cannibal. You must think you are invisible.

Igbos first invention is a human abattoir call okija where you eat human like biscuits.

Dammy Kramer and others who fell for credit card fraud were your victims as you Igbos are known to be the people who brought about every evil that has ever happened in Nigeria.

Igbos make up 85% of prison population all over Nigeria, that took a lot of criminality to do.
