I got mine the Nigerian way, after going four consecutive times and keep getting the no185 even when I got there as early as 6:00am.. I got frustrated and almost gave up. Until one alfar liadat told me the security man collects recharge card just to put one's name on the pre-form list as early as 5am, mehn.. na so my name enter no 3 Let's just say, I was amongst the first five who got registered on the fifth day. You see ehn, Nigeria is a very useless country. A country where doing the right thing would only cause you unnecessary suffer head and still make you look very stupid. I learnt to do it "the Nigerian way", I guess that's the only practical/obtainable way to get things done in this country. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Why can't inec create a website where people can fill the form then schedule a date for biometrics at INEC approved centers. What kind of backwardness is this. 9 Likes |

I just had the same nasty experience here in Ikorodu, and this is my second time of trying to get the PVC The first time, I got to Elepe primary school by 5:30am we were not more than fifteen but on the list there were 130 names already. I still waited to see what will happen, the inec people came by 10:15am but I never got to do it till I left by 3:30pm |

Firstinline:Go to their head office. Ask for lacasera. Buy some recharge card for him, and you'd be amongst the first 10 persons that would be attended to. You can thank me later. |

if they say Naija is poo people will start complaining, So I went for my INEC office for my defaced card, the man in charge was just gisting and laughing with his friend this lasted for almost one hour, I met him the second time he then shouted at me, he did not know he just awoken the elephant in me, when matter start, he attended to me immediately, I later learnt it was just me filling a form something that did not take up to 2 minutes. |

TheUbermensch:That is not the only way my friend, yes Nigerian need revolution but we also need to change the narratives as the youth of this country. Not everything is done by violence but enough can be done with the PVC if we really want to turn things around many did it in 2015 for buhari with the media and power of social media it can still be done come 2019. |

Had similar experience have gone to different places in Abuja both wuse zone 3, Karu still can't register and I heard is closing sometimes this August. You will go before 7am and meet 184 or more on the list. I guess it's a way of discouraging people, imagine missing work and still not getting pvc. And the next day it's a fresh list. |
Re: My Bad Experience During Voter's Card Registration In Abuja by OtunbaJ: 3:41pm On Aug 11, 2018 |
Well I went for mine around 7am and got registered at around 2:30pm. Least I forget, everybody that got registered drop #200. Now the target for the day was 250 people after last no. was issued they stop given no. u are to come back the next day. Now the mathematics (200×250= Ans× 6days) . Naija for real. |

Raphael007: And after doing that, will he also go all the way to Karu to vote on election day? Considering the restrictions on movement! Nigeria isn't even up to a Third World country, Nigeria is in the lowest bracket of the most underdeveloped, failed states in the world. Very very useless country. That's why anytime I see these overweight bastards who prance around claiming to be government officials moving around in Range Rovers, Mercedes, Land cruisers, etc in long siren blaring convoys, I feel like bombing them all. They all deserve nothing but a painful death. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Buhari is a scam! I remember years back, it's done in wards but now you travel far and wide to register! People even had to pay money to take number! Some pay 1000+ for one reason or the order! Nigerians really wants to exercise their rights but government is making it really difficult! It's a shame! 3 Likes |

Infact ,Nigeria supposed to still b under British rule, we are not mature to govern ourselves. It is very frustrating to get sth that is as simple as voters card. I registered last year June in calabar and was given temporary voter's card which cannot b used to vote. I went to inec office get my permanent voter's card on Tuesday and my name can't b found on d list sent from Abuja for permanent card after l av waited under d sun for 3 hours b4 they even attended to me. Buhari and his lnec brother has started rigging 2019 election by disenfranching many eligible voters from the south 1 Like 1 Share |

I did mine at Karu. It went smoothly. Lots of interruptions from men in uniform, but I finally got mine and left around 2pm. I was 153 when I got there around 9am. |

So sorry about your experience, weekends are the only time people have time to come and register hence the crowd. I must commend Rocha's for the 2day holiday for this exercise. But you guys should have complained to the supervisor how slow the process is, the need for a generator set for a steady power supply and shade from the scorching sun. Please endure the inconvenience and do well to get your PVC. |

Why don't we start a movement... ? I went one time and I almost lost an eye.. How can the whole eti osa (lekki) have just one place to register?? Maybe write on plain white shirts and take pictures and mods help it trend..? Or any good idea to correct this situation? |

I woke up majestically last week, finally left my house few minutes past 6am..the crowd I met at their gate gave me goosebumps... Then people started sharing various hilarious experience, how people come 12midnyt to write name.. Shuu !!! On top vote we I no sure say go count sef... was no 246 or so on the third list I was already going back home cos there was no hope, then I heard some cute guys discussing how they printed the old one from Inc website... Tried with my surname, for where... My date of birth,.. E be like say na only me dem born dt day nd INEC Don throway my data.... Then I saw a space for NIN .... I know the card should be in a box back in my village(me why never go house for a while) I started calling my village/yard ppl to check the box, they found nothing(I trust my younger ones. They blv I no longer need anything I drop home)...... My mum in another part of the country had to join n calling them to tell them where it is..... That was my saving grace... This vote better count o |
