Am doing more of reading now than commenting. I am starting my ECA with ICES, then am preparing for the IELTS. Am now a silent reader. I want to write IELTS once and ace it.

When are you writing and what preparatory materials are you using? I want to write both IELTS and TEF as soon as possible. Help me biko, help me.

Called the Children’s Practice this morning and it seems they now do appointments for upfront medicals. Please call and confirm before going there for medicals.

Dear Nairalanders.
Top of the day to you. May your week be blessed and fruitful.
I just realized that I totally forgot to mention that I was refused a Canadian student visa in my application. And I have submitted.
Any idea on what I should do? Should I leave it as it is? Or how do I add that info to an already submitted application?
Thanks.

I must agree.

We will not stop emphasising the importance of reading page one.

For me, I know ITA/PPR will come at God's appointed time. He already said YES to me from the moment I told Him about my Canny dream.[/quote]

Please i need someone to spoon feed. In writing a letter of authorization for your spouse to use the funds in your account for immigration who do you address the letter to and what do you say? I am technically asking for a sample of the letter if anyone doesn't mind sharing.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response. Another thing is, my spouse is the PA, not me. Do we still need to go ahead with raising the CSE.?

Am studying the materials I pick up from here and page 1. Also the Google drive link someone put up somewhere on this thread. Materials abound bro. Just search. I intend writing in Oct. Am trying to send my transcript to ICES via my school official mail. I don't like courier.

Hian! Questions like these are not necessary. More than 3 people already told you what to do. In the spouse application that you filled, were you asked of any visa refusal or not?

Search yourself and do the needful.

Please raise the CSE to explain the omission. Dont take any chances... Deep inside of you, you know its a mistake, so raise the CSE to correct the mistake

Congrats, your score are great.
From your simulation, it seems you have 2 years of work experience. That's fine.

A few questions for you.
Your IELTS, is it General or Academics? If General, what was your target score? I believe you had a score in mind when writing it.

Well, if it's for EE you were interested, your score is good to go.

hi thank you, with the simulation i used one year of work experience which gave me this score , my target was to get an overall 8.0 on the IELTS general

Clayrex101,

How do you "forget" you were refused a visa? Even the question asking you if you have ever been refused a visa did not jog your memory? This is amnesia sometin o.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by ChandlerBing: 1:22pm On Aug 13, 2018
People are just asking so many dumb questions here. You found this thread I assume by a Google Search. Yet you ask such weird and frankly unintelligent questions that another simple Google Search would reveal.

I don't want to say some people do not deserve to be classed as Skilled Immigrants, but some people do not deserve to be classed as Skilled Immigrants.

Please house, I need your candid advice with which body to write my ielts with in Lagos, BC or MOD? I have read previous threads about people complaining about BC's confusing speaking test reshcedule as well as their strict payment option. Though MOD seems to be better in the aforementioned points, my fear with them is that for listening test they can either provide speaker / earpiece. I am used to practising with earpiece and don't want otherwise on test date. That is why am confused, please help me out as time is running out for registration

I think it's about your priority.... nothing to worry about if it's payment as far as BC is concerned just a raise a bank draft wherever you are and send it via courier or visit their office within 5 days of registration and you won't have issues and be sure of earpiece....as for MOD you can as well start practising without earpiece atleast to balance things up and prepare for worst....that's my take....
