Many of these things happening have been happening before, just that they were not well documented in ink and pictures.

Every single negativity in our democratic experience can be traced back to the defunct Western Nigeria.

Pls note that all the crap you are witnessing in Nigerian democracy began from the old western Nigeria.

Electoral rigging, ballot snatching/stuffing, electoral violence, cross-carpeting, tribal politics, factionalzation, vote buying and treason were all part of the Wild west.

If only God can release a very powerful thunder that will simultaneously strike both the National Assembly, Aso Rock and the Federal Secretatriat and electrocute everybody there to death.

But God no even send Nigeria sef. As is evident, He has abandoned us since 1914.

Dont blow it out of proportion.

Squabbles and face-off in parliaments are common in different parliaments all over the word.

Google the Wikipedia article "Legislative Violence" to get a better perspective.

I noticed that, in both cases, there were policemen right in the thick of things doing practically nothing.

I'm just wondering exactly what the policemen stationed by that gate in the more recent pictures are doing. As in, what could the instructions from their superiors have been?

"Secure the gate and ensure that it's not stolen"?
