Stitching is done in both, but CS is no more so, technology has advanced, so you prefer partly CS and partly vaginal. I don't advise anybody to opt for that. Is better you choose a particular method, but funny enough, you hardly see a woman deliver through vaginal throughout, just like i do observe this days.

I'm open for any method as far as we're both alive, although I had VD for my children.

As far as I know... There is no Christian tenet objecting to CS, especially when the mother or child's health is in question. ALL I want is a safe delivery... Btw, I don't like the big puffy stomach that accompany CS...

Just imagine my sister, I had the to educate the women in my church about CS.. One delivered 2 years ago through CS and they were busy saying, in this Church, no one delivers through CS. That they deliver like Hebrew women, I was mad.

I had a conversation with a female colleague of mine and the chat led to this. I asked why if she would choose CS over normal delivery, and she chose CS . I was surprised.

Would you choose CS over normal delivery supposing there were no health implications?

For the men, would you allow your wives to choose CS over normal delivery ?

I've done both...there's little or no difference. Just pray to come out alive. It's only by God's Grace.

The day I was to deliver my son. I went into labour the previous day, my sister! Labour show me pepper oga dey cry outside as them don book me CS. Na so I begin cry o, Doctor please come and bring out the baby!! Them do CS, I dey alive my lovely handsome love is alive. I no care if na push or CS. CS all the way! I can't risk my baby's live with my tight pelvic...

Stop being a lazy child of God. God is best. prayer is the key. Pray to your God consistently that you don't want any of the 2, hang my neck if he doesn't answer. He did it for my, my wife delivered without a single labour pain all because I asked God persistently during the 9 months and he did it. Prayer works, miracle happens, God is real.

Is always good not to speak on something one isn't sure of, which tummy scar, you are indeed an old school. Unless your wife has big tummy before CS, then you don't expect magic to bring it down.

Your tummy remains the same after CS, you don't know that the tummy becomes more cleared during CS, than vaginal delivery

For people like us that can't withstand pain, ehn he go hard it (but i wonder why people pray against it like "it's a bad thing)

I can relate....but that's a big fat lie

I don't know which is better. it depends on the pelvic bone of d woman, some women can't av VD cos of d size n shape of d pubic bone so CS becomes d only option. I've had 4 vaginal deliveries to d glory of God. labour is not easy at all oh but d pain disappear s almost immediately after delivery. d first labour is usually more painful n prolonged but subsequent ones becomes bearable to some extent(personal experience.)

it depends on the hospital � anyways.... The recent one My wife did at a state specialist hospital somewhere in Ondo state was about #110,000-#120,000 drugs and scans inclusive. See the breakdown CS PACKS #20K, OPERATION FEE #20K, ANATESHIA, #10K, BLOOD #10K, SCANS..... abt #10k, drugs abt #20k, administrative #5k miscellaneous abt #10k-#15k. Though, thank God my spending didn't go in vain my PRINCE and his mother came out absolutely sound.

everyone misses the point. OP says "induced Labour" and this is different from normal labour. While induced labour forces out the baby through the vagina effortlessly, many go for it over CS. But there are still some health factors you need to get clarity of from the gyna.

was induced and had 8 hours painful labour ..
baby was 3.5kg and I was given a cut that reopened after 3 days ,and they stitched me again afterwards I sat in hot water for 2 weeks for me to be tight again

FYI, And pls note, not just CS alone (infact, normal delivery could be worse)and it depends on personal experience of that man
