madridguy: The reordering aspect was removed and sent back for his assent. Again he refused for no clear reason. |

Almaiga: The same card reader though used in previous elections is not part of the electoral law. If it is not signed into law then what is d point of appropriating funds for card reader machines when the outcome, if challenged, can be thrown out by the court? This is not cowardice, it is the sheer stupidity of an unintelligent and dull president. |

freeze001: Why do they want to re-order it so close to the election? knowing fully well it can't be challenged in the short time? I suspect foul play. |

Butterflyle0: The tsunami generator sai dullardic fossil does not need fairness since almost all Nigerians love him n trust him as he n apc just revealed. his body odour makes others win elections hands down even wen he's not in the country. he should win his own election even from a sick bed. Th dullard is now rejecting the same card reader that he hailed as what brought him to power, He hailed the card reader as what made pdp not to rig the last elections. anyway am no longer shocked @ ur posts, bmc gotta chop by end of the month sha |

Re: Election Re-ordering: PMB Declines Assent To Electoral Act Amendment Bill Again by freeze001(f): 10:02am On Aug 14, 2018 |
Almaiga: The Electoral Act is usually amended in the year preceding elections. This allows for any electoral challenges to be addressed in the courts in the basis of the existing law. Mr President rejected the first bill sent earlier in the year and that wastes more time. You should be asking why INEC budget is coming now and why it didn't come earlier to be debated and approved along with the main budget. |

Butterflyle0: This particular bill has the election reordering provisions expunged. This was done after his first refusal to sign. Why has he refused to sign this one that now legalises d card reader as part of the electoral process? |

PrecisionFx: Still being peurile I see and FYI I am aware that the LMC have to desperately earn their keep as the Looters Media Crew they are which is why you would defend fraud, fraudulent people and all manner of illegality over your 20k stipend monthly. I would have easily given you that 20k monthly for free if you had only asked |

thewesternking: And I've just told you that after the President rejected the reordering provisions, the bill was revised removing that aspect and sent back for his assent. So why d second refusal? Meanwhile the NASS has power to reorder elections, the court has ruled on that. |

Re: Election Re-ordering: PMB Declines Assent To Electoral Act Amendment Bill Again by Butterflyle0: 10:13am On Aug 14, 2018 |
PrecisionFx: Apparently PDP are all dullards if after 16 years of national mismanagement they still think Nigerians are stupid enough to embrace them so they can come and finish the damage they began. Notice they came 3rd in the most recent by elections so much so that baby political parties fared better? The writing is on the wall. That being said, nobody needs to pay for truth but people can always pay for lies and negative propaganda which is what PDP has been doing since 2015 when they lost |
Re: Election Re-ordering: PMB Declines Assent To Electoral Act Amendment Bill Again by Nobody: 10:21am On Aug 14, 2018 |
Butterflyle0: PDP didn't lose in 2015 because of 16 years of looting, They lost because the north needed to get power at all costs n since GEJ refused to step aside for a northerner back den, Saraki Tambuwal Dogara Obasanjo El rufai countless senators, countless reps members 5 governors and very many more all left PDP n joined APC just to get power back. Now the power is back in the north since both PDP n APC are fielding northerners they have fled back to PDP. Nothing special, But only zombies do not know this. |

PrecisionFx: Maybe you are suffering from selective amnesia because the truth is staring you in the face and you cannot avoid it. PDP and that ineffectual buffoon were kicked out for 16 years if mismanagement or have you forgotten how our reserves were depleted in the time of plenty? Or how GEJ was known as the ATM with no pin number? The list of their atrocities are endless. Keep deceiving yourself especially as I said, only the fraudulent can defend the fraudulent and only those with zero integrity would side the same. |

freeze001: My guess on the reason for refusal is as good as yours. I however know that if the National assembly was indeed serious about the bill, they would have passed it earlier and sent it to the president for consent. Allowing whoever had any grievances to contest the bill before the elections. |

And pls don't ever tell me any trash about integrity because APC I Buhari is void of any integrity whatsoever. |

Re: Election Re-ordering: PMB Declines Assent To Electoral Act Amendment Bill Again by freeze001(f): 11:18am On Aug 14, 2018 |
Almaiga: What does this have to do with the INEC supplementary budget that was not brought to the NASS until July this year? Why was it not part of the original budget submitted in 2017 or was the Executive not aware that we would have elections in 2019? Besides, the delay in passing the national budget is traceable to heads of parastatals and ministries that refused to come and defend their budget before the NASS, again the failure of the Executive. That delay also meant that the NASS could not deliberate until that process was completed. Have you forgotten that the NASS had to speak out and then the President threatened to sack those who had failed to go before the NASS to defend their budget? |
