Good morning gazzuzz...I drive a 2000 sienna. When I start my car in the morning, the power steering is soft. But when the operating temperature is reached, steering becomes hard. what could be the cause. Steering rack just changed and it was like that with the old steering rack.

Start by confirming is the reservoir is clean. There is a strainer at the Base of the container, wash it thoroughly with petrol or thinner

It was done boss...before we poured new steering fluid into the new rack. The reservoir was washed with petrol.

I have a 2006 Rav4 which has been used for 2years now and bought Nigerian used. Problem is this clanking sound when u drive. Mechanic says its the steering rack.. It was changed with a brand new one and the sound stopped for maybe a day and has continued ever since.. Do you have any solutions or advise. We have changed linkages, bushing etc (this was on my command as the mechanic still continues saying its the steering rack.

that car is notorious for suspension noises. If you have replaced steering rack and still have noises, check the area highlighted in pic.

I drive a 2003 bank type corolla, I recently noticed the coolant in the reservoir reduced almost to empty, no visible signs of leak in radiator hoses after inspections, radiator cap has no issues too...I have parked the vehicle as I don't want to risk overheating it....
Any idea what could be responsible?

Good morning bros gazuzz, sir while driving the car traction control light came up and since den the traction light displays "TRACTION OFF".
2: D car jerks a bit while on drive
3: sometimes when the car is started on park it comes on n dies immediately, but with a quick throttle response it picks up and remain steady.( this doesn't happen all the time)
4: diagnose d car d code I got was random misfire detected from cyl 1-8
6: there is this squealing nose I hear from d pulleys side whenever I throttle, d noise isn't coming up @ idle.
Car is Toyota highlander 2012 model.

. Oga Gazzuz. Pls My Honda crv 2005 transmissions recently starts to delay before engaging while changing from gear one to two but runs fines when it enters the gear. Engine runs fine. Pls what could be the issues.Also finding it difficult to locate the position of the transmission gearbox dipstick. Pls assist. Can I use Mobil ATF to service the transmission? If not which ATF would u recommend and how much sir.

I have always used 5w30, thermostat intact , I havent had any serious issues until this one...

you have a leak. usual culprits are radiator and environs.

Check pressure cap to be sure it's still fine. If you are using coolant, it will be easy to find a leak, it will leave a colour trace in that area.

Thanks sir, I use coolant( not the expensive one though), however a friend of mine just told me to drive around awhile then check the water pump area
Will do that in the evening and get back here,

It should be discoloured even if it is ordinary water.

Conversions are Very poorly done in nigeria. please buy the Left hand drive to ensure your safety.

Gazzuzz, good evening. Boss, I bought a Toyota corolla 2006 (bankers type) from Somebody. I've never bought a car before so my inexperience prevailed. The car has number plate but it was removed from a Honda Accord. This was found out by vio when I went to process change of ownership. Now the seller is saying the car doesn't have custom papers cos vio said i have to bring for fresh registration. What do I do? I wanted to use the car for Uber.

My ride has been running fine after I met a car dealer who sent my to his mechanic but now there’s a problem which goes thus...


Car starts overheating when I’m at high speed with ac on, ac becomes just fan so I’d have to off the ac, but at 60km/h and below, it doesn’t overheat, whenever the overheating starts, I usually off the ac and the temp comes down to half of the temp gage... som1 said one of the fans might not be as powerful as it should be... another said he would work on my car’s water system... not that there’s anything wrong with it but he wants to do some engineering magic to help with the overheating

But this is usually prevalent during hot temperatures especially when the sun is hottest but that’s when I need my ac working the most

What fix can u profer boss
