Pls computer gurus in this house, what is the solution to my system which does not charge when plugged into power unless it is shutdown or in sleeping mode.

Motherboard issue, see an engineer,yeah a good idea.

Fault mostly from AD_ID or from charging or discharging mosfet. (you don't have to understand this grin) just see a good engineer.

I had the same issues some days ago. Did you recently install any new software? are you using the right charger?

Same thing happened to me few weeks ago. And the laptop screen also goes of and on, minimized apps can't easily be opened again.

Had to uninstall and delete recent software, den cleaned disk b4 the laptop gained some sense.

It could be a recent software installation.

No new software installed and I use the follow-come charger.
