In any case although GEJ would have liked a second term in office, he wasn't desperate for it.

You see the reason why I hate that party called PDP the more, they believed Nigeria will belong to them forever and so they planned a lot of things to do and started few projects without the aim of completing them, so when this administration came in, they tried to revisit all the abandoned project of the past and yesteryears. So whenever there is any completion in the project by the present administration they sprung out to say 'it was started during our time or we did it'. Useless party without plan for the masses. sometimes I wonder if these insane aides think we forget so soon.. I can remember these same people tagged the chibok girls event as a SCAM.. they even went further claiming these girls were kept somewhere as a way of discrediting his administration. so how do you rescue same considered a scam by the ebele Jonathan's administration.. look for something better to say Mr abati.

DAPCHI GIRLS ABDUCTION

There are questions begging for answers. Nigerians are looking up to the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government to provide answers to these questions.

First, reports have it that a few days before the abduction, troops were withdrawn from checkpoints and strategic positions in the community. Consequently, the insurgents allegedly had an unchallenged outing as they made for the school and seamlessly took their prey. Even though the Defence Headquarters has since denied this report, the governor of the state, who is also the Chief Security Officer of the state, has insisted that troops were withdrawn. In addition, we read of the drama that took place in the blame game between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force regarding this matter. The question is, who ordered the withdrawal of troops days before the incident?

Second, although the Defence Headquarters in its usual manner has denied the allegation, Amnesty International has alleged and still insists that calls were put through to alert the army of a possible attack by the Boko Haram insurgents hours before the abduction took place. Apart from denying this allegation, what has the Federal Government done to investigate this allegation? Who received the call, at what time, and through what means?

Third, on the day of their release, reports have it that the insurgents drove the schoolgirls back to Dapchi unarmed and unchallenged, and they exchanged pleasantries with the community leaders and villagers who cheered them on. When did insurgents become the friends of their victims’ community? Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information, told us that they acted on moral grounds; but I am still asking myself when terrorists began to practise morality. To make the issue more complicated, the girls who were allegedly abducted in the night, perhaps with no time to pack their belongings considering the state of confusion they would have been at the time of their abduction, returned with bags full of belongings. One would be forced to ask if Boko Haram insurgents now take their captives out on a shopping spree or if they have a supermarket in their hideouts and decided to show these poor girls some act of kindness.

All these point to one direction: Could it be that the Buhari-led Federal Government stage-managed this whole drama to appeal to people’s sympathy in order that they might stay in power beyond 2019? This assumption is not far-fetched as one deserted “Sergeant David” has alleged that the whole script was written, directed and produced from Aso Rock with some funds exchanging hands. Even though the defence headquarters has denied this allegation as usual, the whole scenario betrays its claims.

Implementation had begun in The last dispensation...

Former President Goodluck Jonathan secured the release of some Chibok girls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram but decided not to publicise it.

The former media aide to Jonathan disclosed this on Wednesday during a show he anchored on ARISE TV.

He interviewed Femi Adesina, spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari, on the show.

He said Sambo Dasuki, the then national security adviser (NSA), advised the government against making the release public in order to protect the identities of the freed girls.

He said: “There was headway. We rescued many of the girls but the advice from the NSA at the time was that we should not publicise it because of the identities of those girls. I witnessed it on many occasions. Those girls were brought to the president.

“He met with them. In fact, some of them were sent to schools in the United States and United Kingdom. There were strict instructions not to publicise it because government thought that the identities of those girls should not be exposed. But l saw you guys making a dance out of the ones you rescued.

“In our time, we rescued some girls but we were under strict instruction not to publicise it. Check the records. The DSS, the intelligence agency, you should ask them. They will have the records.”

Boko Haram insurgents kidnapped 276 girls from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno state on April 14, 2014.

While 163 of the girls have been returned, over 100 are believed to be in the custody of the terrorist group with some thought to be dead.

my problem with these PDP members and sympathisers is they talk without thinking of past statements used.. remember, we were told by all who cared to say something by the then Jonathan's administration that the chibok girls abduction was a scam, a script and the handiwork of the opposition to discredit his administration. and today someone is telling us that the Jonathan's administration rescued same scammed, scripted chibok girls without making it public. it brings me to two conclusions: it is either the Jonathan's administration did the scripting to draw public sympathy to swig the election to his favour or his government was a deceit never to be trusted.

Just watch as the numbskullz that said the abduction was a scam would still come here and praise GEJ for freeing then secretly.


You want to protect the identities of the girls, announcing that ten or twenty girls have been freed doesn't expose them in any way.

This revelation is sad considering the fact that all eyes were on them(passed government) to make efforts for the released of the girls.
they firstly, denied that no girl was kidnapped and took almost a month for them to admitted that the school girls were actually missing despite protest from the general public.
My question is; can you rescued what wasn't missing?
2. In electioneering year as it was, despite all the pressure don't you think the guys in government could have give it the needed publicity it deserved in other to scored some political points,if the girls were actually rescued?

Now u got it wrong, the government was first quiet about the capture of the girls to ascertain leadings to the kidnap





On government not broadcasting, it's not an achievement to see the girls cos kidnapping them at first is failure of government



And Abati gave a sensible answer that it is to protect the children from stigma


He was having the conversation with Femi Adesina to show he was sure of his postulation



Only an irresponsible government will celebrate the recovery of something that should not get lost in the first place.

Treasury Single Account (TSA) is a financial policy in use in several countries all over the world. [1] It was proposed and partially implemented by the federal government of
Nigeria in 2012 under the Jonathan Administration - and fully implemented by the
Buhari Administration.[2] to consolidate all inflows from all agencies of government into a single account at the Central Bank of Nigeria.[3]
