I am not sure you quote the right person I am telling you that okocha and diouf don't play in the same position so don't compare them okay. What trophy did okocha win with the eagles ? Please remind me and correct me if I am wrong in anyway Thank you |

against egypt we were a goal up better defending we would have won the match. osaze was so bad we had to remove him before we scored against guinea. ask yourself why that is the case osaze played against angola in kano which we drew. abi that is false too? Mickael2: |

I have never seen a clueless Nigerian Coach...The man is a disgrace to Nigeria Football. I had to cover my face when I saw him trying to teach the Goalkeeper how to take a Goal kick. I knew it will end this way. When I saw the line up. I have never seen a coach as stubborn as this man. How will you keep your best players on the bench in a knock out match. He need to be sacked asap. I said it here that, the Duru of a girl has no business in the team. How she became a footballer still baffles me. But some people want us to believe, she is the next thing the SFs need. The most painful thing was the coach's refusal to make the third sub. He is expecting a Miracle replica of what happened against China. On FIFA'S part, how can you choose a ref from China to refer the next game of a team that sent her country home. So much bias from the Governing body. The team is made up of average girls that lacks quality + a clueless coach. It's over. 2018 has been a disappointing year for our football. |

AIG07: At least the U20s qualified for world cup. Female U17s didn't. Let us hope the male U17s qualify for their own, this one that everyone is just failing MRI up and down |

komekn:I knew you were going to jump right behind the English Boys. I don't know when Victor Moses became the best thing after Coca-Cola. He is good and that is what he his. But saying he is indispensable is a total joke. There are better players and talents of Nigerian decent who are relatively unknown simply because opportunity never came their way. Give it time and he will be eclipsed by a younger player and no one will miss him. You think everything ends in the Queensland... Because Nigeria is not getting things right does not make Nigerians short of individual talents and quality folks who will Excell in any field of their choice. I don't know when COMMITMENT had another meaning I had to recheck my dictionary. I don't know if the word differs with different regions of the world. But this is what I got. Noun: commitment |ku'mit-munt| The trait of sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose • a man of energy and commitment = committedness ~ earnestness, serious-mindedness, seriousness, sincerity ⇒ investment The act of binding yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of action • his long commitment to public service = allegiance, dedication, loyalty ~ cooperation ⇒ communalism, consecration, devotion, enlistment, faith But if you still no understand am.. Let me put it to this way. You have 22 employees working for you. But you still need one more to make the whole thing thick. You saw a candidate with potential on the verge of been employed by your competitor (a rival). you went all the way and did everything possible to convince that person to come work for you. After a while he considered your offer and decides to work for you. At first he was humble and dedicated. He gave all he can and he begins to get all the accolades due him. Then, suddenly their was a turnaround. He reports to work late only to give excuses to justify his lateness. He begins to select the tasks he will do and those he won't despite that they were all within his job description. Yet you played along and did as if you didn't see it. You tried reaching him through an higher officer. Yet there was no changes. Then, you started noticing that his poor attitude has started affecting the whole team of staffs... I'm sure, you been who you are an ENLIGHTENED INDIVIDUAL will not read any meaning into such body language indicating LACK OF COMMITMENT TO YOUR COMPANY GOALS and so won't take any action. Till the whole thing goes south. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: How old is Arjen Robben, Ronaldo, Evra, Lassana Diarra, Riberi, etc, And if we are too be honest with ourselves do we really know the true age of our players. I wonder what the true age of Taribo West was when he was playing competitive football. So let's leave the age issue to one side. |

Just saw the FIFA rankings. Tunisia, Cameroon and DRC ranked ahead of us?? Smh, it seems that missing two AFCONs has really taken a toll on us. We have no choice but to qualify and go far in next year's AFCON. |

tbaba1234: I don't think they are excuses. It's a reflection of his career trying to find relevance and consistency and then you want to go to AFCON. His career could have reached a premature end because of honouring Afcon call up. I know how Moyes treated Yobo on account of him honoring Afcon. Danny Shittu had to decide over his career or Afcon. I do not for once doubt VM commitment one bit. But I completely appreciate the circumstances he often found himself in. |

komekn: What real age? Did victor retire from football or just super eagles? As long as they are not in age grade competition a players age means nothing. Rooney retired from England early also. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:12pm On Aug 16, 2018 |
komekn: There is no age issue with Moses. He left Nigeria at a very young age, played for English youth teams. 27 is a very young age to retire. He is probably at his peak. |
