Lack of quality friendly matches is among what is affecting Nigerian female teams. Those teams they played against in Africa during their qualification route were pure poor. Because its just jam body them the play for Africa. Example that Duru of a girl. Against Haiti which was more of a physical game, she did very well, but against teams and wingers that are more technically gifted and tactically better she can't find her feet. Good luck girls. You did your best. 5 Likes |

Xlad: Have you seen the Paraguayan goalie play in this tourney? Chiamaka will definitely make the top 3, but she isn't the best. |

AAA593: When it comes to watching football match on the screen/television, everyone seems to be a good coach, why don't you try let's rate you. NONSENSE!!!. kudos to them, they played what the know best. IF big teams should be winning all the time, I wonder who the losers will be. 5 Likes 1 Share |

A slightly better second half. But it just wasn't good enough. |

Aystarz: You mean if not for the Paraguayan goal keeper, the U.S.A girls would have scored more than 6 goals when they met in this same tournament? Bro, it was Chiamaka that saved Nigeria from being DISGRACED by China. Nigeria qualified by sheer luck. Infact the Haitians played better than Nigeria but weren't lucky. THOUGH OVER ALL, AT THIS CHAMPIONSHIP OVER THE YEARS NIGERIA DOES HAVE A VERY GOOD REPUTATION. Beaten Spain twice before. Well, the Almighty U.S.A didn't get out of the group stage. 4 Likes |

At least they fought till the end. If only they didn't show too much respect to the Spaniards in the first half. One positive from this world cup is our goalkeeper. The NFF should not hesitate to sack this coach ASAP because he is wacky and I can even do a better job than him. The noise he makes during games alone can distract his players. 2 Likes |

The second half is beta. They really tried to get close to the keeper. They are too weak to struggle for goals 1 Like |

AAA593: You are correct for people who have common sense of soccer. Nigerians only go for idiotic accolade for the goal scorer. She wants to celebrate the goal instead of winning the match. 2 Likes |

WORDWORLD: Well, the same Paraguayan team conceded 6 against Japan; however, in that game, their goalie made 8 one-on-one saves plus a penalty. She enjoyed no support from her defenders in this tourney, unlike Nnadozie who had a relatively better cover (as today's game proved) . Darling Chiamaka Nnadozie is superb but I rate Ortiz slightly above her. 1 Like |

Same score we used to beat Spain in the 2016 edition... They went back and restrategised and then had their revenge today. |

The U-20 women's team better known as the Super Falconet has just been defeated by the La Rojita of Spain. La Rojita edged a gritty Super Falconets in the first quarterfinal pairing of the ongoing FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in France with 2 goals against one. Spanish Bonmati curls the ball into the net as Spain took the early advantage in the first half. With few seconds to the first half ending, the Spanish ladies added another goal to make it 2-0 in the first half. As second half resumed, with La Rojita still pressing the right notes on the pitch, the Falconet pulled one back through Peace Efih. The Super Falconets who has qualified for the quarterfinal for the seventh times in nine appearances could not leverage on their experiences against the La Rojita who has made history of qualifiying for Semi-final stage for the first time in the U-20 competition. Spanish ladies will soon know their semi-final opponent when the host France faced North Korea by 6.30pm(Nigerian time). https://www.naijgossp.com/2018/08/breaking-news-u-20-womens-world-cup.html 2 Likes |

Patrioticooduan: There are two ball handlers on this team that have played a game. They are Efih and Igboamalu. Any team that included Ajibade has never gone beyond quarter and will never win a tournament such as the world cup. Ajibade cannot discern whether to strike the ball for a goal or pass the ball to an open teammate. Ajibade is a mirror image of everything wrong about Nigeria. She has been to more than one world cup tournament on the different age grade teams and yet few of the teams barely make it out of the group stage. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Aystarz: Perhaps Chimaka proved herself better in demanding the best from her defence line. It's the job of a good goal keeper to instruct the defence for cover. |

Duru1:Since Efih was the team, how come Nigeria played woefully? Your Efih did not play shi.t. No attacking sense, nothing. Abeg stop overrating your Ibo sister. You did the same with Eminike and Iheanacho or whatever. We all know the nonsense those Ibo guys played. The same way you Ibos were trying to downgrade our beautiful Oshoala while trying to put one Ibo girl like that above. Ajibade is the best player in that team. She is more talented than Efih 1 Like 1 Share |
