Hi all, please I need some answers to my questions. I have gotten admission for an MSc in international business to start January and preparing early enough for the visa application process. I have a business with valid cac registration certificate but I don’t take any money from the business as making up capital first. My father would be my sponsor. Now my first degree was in a science field so switching to something different for masters. Would be mentioning my business in my sop. Since my father is my sponsor, do I need to add my bank account statement and business account statement along with his own even though he is my sole sponsor? |

i submitted 10th of July and i am still waiting for my visa.By God's grace it will come.Waiting period clocked 5weeks last tuesday so next tuesday will make it 6 weeks. Sorry one of my friends was rejected on a stupid basis of "he has done a Msc in Nigeria already why does he want to go do another masters". School has spoken to the embassy and has submittted a letter. How long does it take to get a reply from appeal? lanrayx: |

Hmmmm. You will have to explain and satisfy the consular on why you wish to change from pharmacy to International Business. Also if you are looking to stay after your masters i think u should look at this.....There is shortage of skill in pharmacy.so u can just do industrial pharmacy..or just follow this link and re-access your options and choices https://dbei.gov.ie/en/What-We-Do/Workplace-and-Skills/Employment-Permits/Employment-Permit-Eligibility/Highly-Skilled-Eligible-Occupations-List/ Obiororo: 3 Likes 2 Shares

bigmills: Oga things have so moved away from satisfying consular o. Refusal this week was alarming that International Recruitment Managers in Ireland are thinking of coming down to Nigeria to have a discussion with the embassy. People should try as much as possible to follow in line with their previous studies. This is bigger than following Nairaland somewhat applicants /consultants now --- Please consult with your university's international office. All the best. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ICaSNg: Very True..A friend was denied this week..Perhaps its just a bad week or they are tightening up...I wanted to ask if the person can submit for an appeal and still make september batch? |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by ICaSNg(f): 9:46pm On Aug 16, 2018 |
pristine88: Definitely Yes if they can get every refusal reason sorted correctly or adequately. **Professional advice though, if the school has the program available for Jan, let them appeal before the 2 month window lapses and get an offer for Jan. This will give them more time to sort out all paper works. Refusal reasons have ranged from people thinking IELTS/PTE/TOEFL is not a requirement to some as trivial as WAEC Certificate (***This answers the person who mentioned they intend making a visa application without their transcripts) not been included to 3rd parties making Tuition fee payment on behalf of the applicant especially when this is different from the sponsor. Try and cover all bases before submitting an appeal. But then, we can't rule out the supernatural favour of God sha, so all the best everyone Appeal takes minimum of 72 hours to 5 weeks or more or exceptional cases. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Submitted on the 11th of July. Came home this evening and my package from the embassy was waiting for me. I have had two visa refusals (from Canada) in the past but travelled quite a bit too. Visa was approved! I tried as much as possible to submit a clean, honest application with as many supporting documents as possible. And honestly, I was a little worried still, especially because the last denial from Canada was less than a month before my Irish visa application. Anyways, School resumes mid september. I wish everyone still waiting for their stamped visas the best of luck!!! Anyone going to or resuming in Dublin mid September? Hit me up please. I won't mind travel partner. Lol. 8 Likes |
