I'll be applying for an MSc programme by October, still yet to choose from the schools though. I'm planning on sending multiple application (maybe 2) to different schools. Please successful people who applied for the past one should take the lead. We need updates and encouragement. Thanks!

I applied to only one school and fortunately, I was admitted.
I don't know much about sending multiple applications but I think that can be achieved on Soknadsweb.

When you’re offered admission, you’ll be required to send that money to the school, they will send you a receipt which you would use to apply for your visa, when you get to norway and open a bank account the school would then transfer the money back to you. From there you can do whatever you like with it.

Just popping in to say I'm glad to see this thread still going. I still get a lot of PMs regarding studies in Norway, but the truth is that there are too many for me to actually reply to (I actually tried making a new thread in the past with all info on the front page, but it was locked. It's really a hassle having to dig through all the pages in this thread).

I'll also be more active on NL from now on. Good luck to every one.

Nice to hear from you again. Presently, am having quality working experience in the field of Management Information Systems and am hoping it can help me secure admission in the future despite my third class grade. What are my chances?

Your chances are pretty slim I'd say. Know that many master degrees require a Norwegian C average. Third class is a Norwegian D so you'd fall below the required grade in most cases. They may or may not weigh your work experience (most likely not).

During a degree? I don't know, but I doubt it. Mayhaps your school has an exchange programme with a Norwegian institution.

Good evening from Nigeria. Please, i have an HND with an upper credit in estate management which is equivalent to Level 5 in the European education framework. What are my chances of getting a scholarship to run either a MSC or PGD with my HND?

Thanks.

You can apply for a job seeker visa during your studies, but you must document sufficient funds during this period which is a lot of money: 240k NOK per year.

Don't know, sorry. I believe Norway does not recognize HNDs.

A Masters is probably your best bet. There are very few bachelor degrees available in the English language.
