If you are going abroad, make sure you have a skill that the country needs.

All those Oyinbo countries that hate immigrants, many of them dont like unskilled immigrants, or skilled immigrants who are coming to compete with the skilled natives.

Examples...the UK needs doctors and nurses...so they are taking in those two cadres. Japan needs English teachers, so they are taking in English teachers. And so on.

If you want to emigrate, make sure you are skilled...and skilled in what the country needs. Not the chap who has no degree, and runs away on the Mediterrenean...and ends up being some hawker for nothing.

Do you think those guys that paid millions to go watch the world cup and abscond are not determined or serious people ,but reality came into place when they arrived Russia and most were begging to go home the era of blue collar jobs is passing out so fast ,machines do most of the jobs these days from car wash to ticketing to factory jobs even westerners now are clinging to whatever job they can find.I will not advice anyone that does not have anything meaningful or any proper plans to just take the unnecessary risk of paying millions to come out here there is really nothing out here anymore look for a cool business back home and venture into it some dont even require up to 500k there are so many and profitable .It is so painful when i see my countrymen paying all these travel agents as much as 3m to go to countries like Ukraine,Poland,Bulgaria most of these places are just in Europe but hungry dey their body for this places and many more they increase your hopes of being able to move to better European countries (Germany,Sweden,Italy) don't be deceived the move is not as easy as you think and this places are filled with immigrants ,life there is not different from being in a prison camp ,any little mistake you will be deported the citizens of these countries wont hesitate to call the cops for offenses as little as 3 to 4 people staying in an apartment only one person used to stay. They don't feel comfortable around us anymore

Dey there. I left Nigeria two years ago. I pay my bills and I still have over $20,500 in my savings account. But the truth is, I work hard and smart with all legitimacy. Mind you, it’s not easy though but it’s worth it. Don’t go abroad if you want to lazy around like we do in Nigeria.

Would advice him to travel to the US. I made that decision 1 year ago and I have achieved more than I did while in Nigeria. It doesn't matter whether you have a skill or not. All you need to succeed is God, hardwork, determination and information.

Enough of all this abroad vs Nigeria wahala, just do you and if you think abroad is better pack your load and go. This issue will never be resolved, its impossible to convince the average Nigerian youth not to want to go abroad so this is a waste of time.
