What does kneeling during proposal mean to you as a woman ?

I made a comment on instagram that kneeling to propose to women is wrong but what followed next amused me. Ladies insulted and cursed me from right to left, some saying kneeling mean respect, some said kneeling means romance or love. Lol!

I can kneel to propose to you today and after we get married I'll turn into a beast at home, so kneeling has nothing to do with respect or being romantic .
Ladies were supporting the stuff as if their life depended on the kneeling but we all know if the reverse was the case they'd have said men are treating women like slaves and blah blah.
Our fathers didn't kneel to propose to women, I myself didn't kneel and my son won't.
