She doesn't collect monthly salary like other teachers in the school. However, her ielts for example, was paid for by her parents. Likewise her ECA. If she needs money for something, she can ask her parents and they give her what they can. Another example is her POF.

Please find out if she is placed on a " regular monthly stipend" as that's the only loop hole she may have....using the case of NYSC where one isn't paid Salary but a monthly allowance.

Exactly. And that isn't difficult to do, in fact it should be the first thing to do before spending money on IELTS and credential evaluation. But Nigerians being who we are want something "badly" but don't want to put in the required effort.
My suggestion is that she considers NYSC or any post-graduation experience (paid or unpaid) of at least one year long and check relevant NOC to see if she meets its requirements

Judge much? I never said she didn't check NOC. I said "I" couldn't remember the NOC. Thanks anyway.

Hey Bro! Leave out the Divorce you obviously love her...

Allow some time for the relationship to heal... You could get a friend or relative spill your travel plans to her and make her understand you love her so much that you'd rather add her to your application than go the divorce route.... I guess she'll agree to take the Medical test and Passport. Who knows, this might reconcile you guys.
I really like this piece of advice you've given here. Marriage is hard. Sometimes it looks like the future is bleak. I haven't seen acrimony but if the situation or marriage can be salvaged, I think it's worth a try to involve her in your application.
Maybe just maybe, things will get better. I hope she really does come to her senses.
Wish you the best

Thanks, but I think that it's been established here that your job experience doesn't necessarily have to relate to what you studied . By the way, the NOC in question is 4214- Early childhood educators and assistants. The lead statement matches her work experience.

Yes. But you still have to meet the criteria on whatever NOC you want to claim, in this case it's an education degree/qualification. Sorry for sounding judgemental.

That criteria is a criteria for you to secure a job in that NOC IN CANADA. My friend, as of now, has no intention to be a teacher in Canada. She wants to further her education as PR.

Sorry for those who had their Degree in other fields but did the NYSC 1 year Compulsory Teaching how do they claim their experience for that period without a degree in Education?.

She has no teaching qualification obviously and can therefore not claim points for experience as an elementary school teacher. The least of her problem is the method at which her salary is paid.
if her job duties matches with the noc job description, she can apply. Its Australia that is so keen on the fact that u must have a degree in what you are applying for

i said likely, most ppl i know with that noc got a nomination; as its an occupation in demand for most provinces. there was even some one a few pages back that his wife got nominated with a 410 score or there about.

How does this infer she would need provincial nomination? She asked for advise and rather that, you digressed.

Una well done.

sir, from what I have read here, I believe your course of study does not need to be the same with your employment for you to apply, and your screenshot is for employment requirements in Canada I think. so she can go ahead and claim points for elementary teacher. my take

Hi, I recently adopted my 15yr old niece and included her in my application.

A lawyer helped us with the entire process. The court order/judgment. We had to do a lot of documentation at the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs. They assigned one of their staff to visit our home. They basically wanted to find out if we're capable of taking care of her and that it was not for the purpose of child trafficking. A few back and forth, but simple processes and of course, a lot of cash here and there, including tips to make our files move as fast as it could. The honourable minister had to sign the adoption certificate. Copies were then sent to certain agencies, like immigration, embassy etc.

I have since submitted my application. I ordered my gcms notes which I received few days ago. Everything appears good, at least the adoption papers were acknowledged with no concerns raised whatsoever.

So it's doable. Just that it may not be possible post ITA, considering the time limits. So if you want, you may initiate the process before you get ITA.

Thanks for this...

I think I understand what the problem is with most people who come here. They have a question, they also have a supposed answer and now wants someone to give them a response that confirms this "answer" so they can feel good.

Please I have another question,

Should I attach a Schedule A form to correct the missing information in my travel history? or should I just explain it in the space provided on the webform?

Thanks
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Fyorgyn: 9:15pm On Aug 18, 2018
According to IRCC You don't have to meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.

The employment requirements for each NOC includes the required educational qualifications.

In essence, you can have a degree in fine art and show work experience as an investment banker!

I hope this puts the matter to rest!
