BascoVanVeli: That is not how FIFA is run but that is how most FA's of African countries are run. They depend mostly on government funding. |

godspeed: Hahaha, this one hard o. But just like in the case of most African countries where government is responsible for most part of the funding and FIFA allows it, I think same goes for the communist nations. |

off topic Any one with any help or antidote to curb over excitement.. wanna learn to move in silence especially when something big comes my way.. But i always feel it's a big load Burgin me until I spill it out to few of my folks.. Since nairaland lacks psychotherapists section like reddit and Co.. (tried navigating through reddit many times but always gets lost). I feel like this is the best section out of many threads and sections I follow to spill out one of my darkest flaws.. {thank God it's a faceless forum). So anyone with any advice to offer? 1 Like |

krattoss: There is nothing abnormal in this. You achieve success and you always feel like blowing it open right? You always feel like sharing the good News. But may I ask if you are married? If you are married and still blow the News of your personal success well I will say that is where there is an issue. But if you are not married then that is normal. Solution to this may be to get married so you can get a confidant. Over all, solution to this is seeing a bigger picture about your successes. Ie knowing your final destination and believing that each success you achieve is just a small step or milestone towards achieving the bigger picture. Trivialise each milestone you achieve yet be thankful to God. Then push towards achieving the next milestone. My brother when the time comes you don't even need to blow open your success story by yourself, everyone will see it. 6 Likes |

tbaba1234:Yes not a good move but how much was the guy earning in Turkey or he was released with no club coming for him before Egyptian club came into the picture with relatively good offer. Sir these players faces a lot in their various club sides and those who are very closed can say much about their infamous move to lesser leagues. Pls what can you say about Victor Osimhen predicament, released by Wolfsburg went to Belgium and failed to convince a very lowly team. Don't be surprised seeing him in backwater league to revive his career. |

Kog45: I blame not receiving a single call from Rohr for this decision. No one who has been called was clearly better. When international football seems out of the picture you will see decisions based on money. Remember they miss salary sometimes in Turkey. As for Osimhen I am in utter disbelief and shock. I can't for the life of me understand what is going on. The quality is there and he already has bundesliga experience at his age. Club Brugge rejected him because of money so I am hoping something gets worked out because this is scary. I hope nothing bad happens to his career. |

Kog45: I blame arsenal's coach because they came out very poorly after half time. I would have expected them to continue the offense because Chelsea couldn't handle them but they went defensive. |

BascoVanVeli: Okechukwu was not that good at club level to warrant national call-up. I can't blame Rohr. We can not invite him based on olympics form. |

Icon4s:Sincr he began playing against Chelsea, he has an average of 6dribbles in all the games. But our naija peeps go prefer to hype the one Hazard did even when it's Less than the one Iwobi did. Iwobi passes Kante and Rudiger and had to be fouled. He has a big touche of gold in him. simple!! |

'We love you'; Galatasaray fans react to Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru's debut Danny Owen@danny81952 days ago Here Is The City Henry Onyekuru has played just one game for Galatasaray since he joined on loan from Everton in the summer. But it seems that, despite 84 goalless minutes in the 3-1 win at Ankaragucu on Saturday, Gala fans have already taken to their speedy Nigerian forward. There is plenty of room for improvement. Onyekuru looked a little selfish at times in key positions and gave the ball away more often than he should. But, on the other hand, the 21-year-old caused real problems to the hosts’ defence with his pace and direct running while his defensive work rate, something he was frequently criticised for lacking during last season’s spell at Anderlecht, was refreshingly impressive. Onyekuru will spent the 2018/19 season with Galatasaray as he aims to earn a work permit which will allow him to finally make his Premier League bow with Everton. The Toffees beat off a whole host of competition from across Europe to sign the striker, who models his game on Thierry Henry, from KAS Eupen in 2017 for £7 million, according to the BBC. And the hope will be that he can follow in the footsteps of Ademola Lookman in Leipzig and Kieran Dowell at Nottingham Forest, returning to Goodison in a years’ time with his reputation greatly enhanced. He’s certainly made a good start. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/08/17/do-we-love-you-evertons-henry-onyekuru-is-already-a-galatasaray/ 2 Likes |

tbaba1234: How has he not been good enough? He has been a constant starter since the word go in Turkey. He made the team of the season when his club won promotion and kept them in the super lig. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 12:31pm On Aug 19, 2018 |
BascoVanVeli: Since they have been in the Super Lig, he has not particularly stood out in the league. If he was, there would have been more/better offers. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 1:36pm On Aug 19, 2018 |
BascoVanVeli: How much Bundesliga experience Over what time period and what did he do with it❓ was he uoutstanding ❓ How many goals has he scored That's why I say he is essentially a youth academy player. It's better to be in a lower club and league and playing than in a supposed top team and be totally anonymous and or not playing. After you hit 19/20 years old, you should be playing regularly and definitely not youth academy football. Because in reality your not progressing, however, there may be some exceptions. For instance if you are in Real Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, etc and that pedigree will and outstanding youth performances will see you generate a lot of interest from other top clubs. However, that's not the case for Osimhen, he has nothing to leverage his career and or assumed competency upon. Beyond past youthful glories that are no longer relevant. Unless where the NFF is concerned. A year is a long time in football two years is almost history and three years is archived ancient history. |
