Hello fam, trust the weekend has been cool. Please I need your insight here...I have plans to relocate to either Canada or US any time soon but I’d like know which is best advised; relocating as a single or with my fiancé (after wedding which might be in about two years). She should be done with her nursing professional licensing in about 2 years. My consideration is that: 1. I have some stuff I’m still doing back here in Nigeria at the moment. 2. She being a BSc Nurse (in the nearest future), might be a plus for our relocation plans. Would love to read your thoughts and advice on this. Thanks! |

ijomaSN: Check the NOC you filled if it falls under those permitted to go through FSW. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Nobody: 1:55am On Aug 19, 2018 |
ijomaSN: Relax nah! The challenge is with the NOC you filled. Check under NOC for FSW, not just the headings but the descriptions below. If work job description are under any one, you can claim the NOC. Your CRS point will not come up once you are ineligible. Just try again. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Aim4Dtop: Why not calculate your CRS using your spouse as the primary applicant. If you do and your scores crosses 400, I will suggest you look out for PNP. Also, do you speak French? If yes, you can put in for TEF, it can boost your CRS points also. |

ijomaSN: Things you've might need to crosscheck : - The inputted NOC category (O, A, B) - is your IELTS GT or Academic (only GT is used for immigration) and expiry - The Required POF for family of 3 |

Hello everyone.. Please I need help. I am a registered Nurse/midwife. I want to know which NOC is applicable for my status. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by stonecoldcafe: 6:22am On Aug 19, 2018 |
ijomaSN: I think its your NOC. It falls under skill typeC (6552 Other customer and information services representatives) Only 0,A,B skill type are eligible for the FSW stream |

Good morning everyone. While we are quick to identify NOC 1114 as the NOC for funds transfer, let's also be mindful of the need to ensure that the duties in our reference letters match that of the NOC we decide to use. Some people may be lucky to have HRs that will word their letter accordingly, others will never go outside of their designated JD for funds transfer. When it comes to FT NOC, there is no one size fits all I am afraid. Different banks word their JD for FT differently. A bank I know writes the most basic duties for FT officers. Nothing deacriptive at all. The wife of somebody on this thread used 1114 and scaled through, another person on this same thread was rejected cos she used 1114 for her FT role. The differentiating factor will most likely be the description of the duties. If your HR will not word your duties in line with NOC 1114, please don't be quick to use it just because there is a title like 'interbanking arrangements officer' or something like that under the example titles or because Mr A used it and scaled through. The way the NOC classification is designed, you may find your job title or something similar in more than one NOC but it doesn't mean that all of them can apply in your case. Work with your own peculiar circumstance. In the real sense of choosing NOC for FT, it actually falls under NOC C unless you have the good fortune of having a nicely worded reference letter. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

I think I have made a mistake. My HR manager asked me to send a list of my job description so that they can prepare my reference letter,. I wrote 10 job descriptions, and out of the 10, some of the wordings of 3 were directly from CICs website. I just read on this thread that the words must not match. And I have submitted my application already. Am really worried. |

Newmum0615: Thank you so much for this. So if my job description fits into 6552. What do you then advise I do? Should I split my job description For the 6 years I have worked as CsO/Ft into 1114 And the 2 years I worked in cash and teller as 6552? So that it doesn't seem all weird. Do I give up on the express entry and relocation all together? Does it mean it is village people working against me....because many of my colleagues have gotten PPR. Although as typical of Nigerians, they are all evasive of their application steps. So I can't get a firsthand idea of what NOC they chose. What is the nearest NOC you'd advice me to use? I already posted my reference letter for a guide. Thank you ma CC:Vickyehi Hephgirl Joo2018 |

ijomaSN: To stand a better chance, ......you need to have a second degree or cert that's pgd diploma or masters degree ......spouse should write ielts and try to score high also then eca for spouse .......3yrs work exp Try to input these things into the CRS simulator to know exactly where you need to improve on your profile. 1 Like |
