Well, I would say Suleja's proximity to Abuja has influenced it's high cost of living a lot.

It's difficult to really compare, all the same, I feel Suleja has a lesser cost of living compared to an average place in lagos. (IMO).

Transportation is exceedingly cheap in Suleja.
I think 300 Naira away from Berger, Abuja.

Suleija, Niger state is cheaper in terms of cost of living than Lagos state.


Suleija has a big market where traders from the FCT and surrounding states buy their goods from. Items in this market are cheaper (if you are business inclined). There are no job opportunities in Suleija.


Accommodation rental fees are cheaper.


You do not have to wake up as early as 3am to prepare to leave the house at 4-4:30am just to beat traffic as is the case in Lagos.


Overall, your well-being will improve in Suleija than in Lagos state.

comparing cost of living btwn Lagos and Suleja is oxymoronic. Lagos is Lagos, heartbeat of Nigeria's Economic activity. Suleja's only significance is its proximity to Abuja.



btw suleja is slowly becoming a training ground for future religious foot soldiers.

Suleja is a nice place I stayed there for like 10years Kwamba to be precise going to town is not that difficult

This is common sense na. The COL in Suleja should be lower than Lagos, ditto wages/salaries, which is why the COL is lower.
