That is EXACTLY what those Fulanis are doing.

They are murdering Igbo soldiers through sending them on missions and giving Boko Haram intelligence report on their number, location, level of ammunition etc so that Boko Haram can attack them and wipe out the unit.

This is the preamble to their effort to fight the Igbos in a second civil war by first wiping the Igbo officers in the Nigerian army either through retirement or set-up Boko Haram ambushes.
