Tbh, I saw it coming considering same defence looked abject all through preseason. Sadly, it seems our best bet lies between one of Jones or Smalling anchoring the defence as well as DDG being in top form like he saved our asses last season.

Truth is no matter how fancy a team plays, the defence is paramount, even Klopp had to damn it and splash millions for VDJ who is actually Klopp's biggest signing in the team. It also seems some small teams understand this already, more reason I pity Fulham and Wolves with their awful defence despite their wonderful midfield.
