hammer6F: If Biafra is to be achieved, I feel these things have to be put in place first: 1) It must be made clear that the new Biafra will be an Igbo nation without other tribes. 2) All Igbo regions and groups must come together under the Ohanaze Ndigbo as one united people with one leadership. 3) Our governors must fashion out a way to build at least a 2000 megawatts power plant that will sustain the new nation and provide at least 18 to 20 hours of power supply daily. 4) At least one of our 4 international Airports in Asaba, Enugu, Owerri and Port Harcourt must be in full operation. 5) We need full access to the ocean for import and export operations so, we must ensure that Ikwerre people are with us so we can make use of the Port Harcourt seaport. As for now, the possibility of the Ikwerre people joining Biafra is 50-50 which means we must have a plan B and the plan B should be to build the long proposed Abia seaport which will involve many billions of naira to dredge the waterway that is in between Rivers and Akwa Ibom until it is deep enough for large vessels to pass through. The Abia seaport is closer to the ocean than the onne and Onitsha ports and dredging the Onitsha Port's waterway will cost more than dredging that of Abia due to the distance of the Onitsha port from the ocean. Another disadvantage of using the Onitsha port as our only port in Biafra is that the cargo ships will have to flow through Bayelsa state and that is something the Nigerian government will reject but, if the Ikwerre joins Biafra, our focus should be on dredging the Port Harcourt seaport till it is deep enough for large vessels to pass through. 6) We must be self sufficient in the production of our staple crops in Igbo land like Rice, Tomato, pepper, yam, cassava, bitter leaf, palm oil and soybeans. 7) Create a Biafran constitution under the Ohaneze Ndigbo Make our senators pass a bill to introduce a referendum into the Nigerian constitution and threaten to vote them out if they fail to present the bill to the National House of Assembly. Once we can achieve all these, Biafra can then be achieved without us having to worry about electric, food and our businesses. Making the Referendum bill pass through will be our major problem because other senators may not support it but we will not give up. All we need are just visionary leaders and a united people to achieve all. 2 Likes |

Ofodirinwa:Lollzz. I'm glad you also picked up the lousy, idle and rabble rouser who has been yapping trash all over this thread and other Igbo Centric threads online with his atrocious diction. Cjrane already picked him out too.A review of his ideas and views showed someone with an elementary and scanty knowledge of Igbo dynamics but trying hard to sound woke! Reading him and his trash paints a pathetic spectacle.Faking a character just to play the devil's advocate subtly is a sad existence. Just check his demeanour whenever the prospects of Biafra being actualised is discussed and watch how he will give a million reasons why Biafra should either wait or we should create eldorado first in Igboland before venturing out.Same unsolicited advice common with the intruders who pose as sons of the soil. I rattled him when i took a swipe at Lagos and he came out blazing only for him to regain his composure and start his silly rants all over again. Ummunne, please pay the impostor a.k.a rasputin.ak.a nnamdijonathen no heed. He has other active monikers on the thread with which he make statements and likes them. What a way to live~!Sad. 3 Likes |

Kokolet11: When arrogant and ignorant elements like Nnamdi Kanu were insulting the Igbo elites like Peter Obi and drawing hatred from other tribes where were you ? APGA is a registered national party and must not soil their hands with dirty tribal politics. These Igbos miscreants were running amok in Onicha defacing a town we are working so hard to build and you think they should get a pat in the back. Today, a well respected intellectual and giant in the person of Nnia Nwodo is being insulted openly by these rogues and you kept quiet. Keep quiet if you dont know what to say. Nnamdi Kanu is nothing but a tout with education....Listen to Ike Obosi and Kingsley Muoghalu and see how they intelligently they articulated the Igbo problems...Ichee n'obu igba ile ka ukpaka! 2 Likes |

Kokolet11: This is the problem with an average African , they dont think beyond their nose. Anambra did not start and end with Awka. Anambra is a very unique state with very aggressively emerging towns and it will be foolhardy to pour all our resources in Awka just to give it decent aesthetics and impress gullible few. What Obi did in Anambra can never be matched by any governor since return of democracy. Anambra is the most financially stable state because of Obi and its this backbone that has given Obiano the confidence to take on some even more challenging projects. The shopping mall that was completed by Obiano how far with that. Peter Obi said something very wise on channels tv after he left office. He said you cant replicate every project that was successful in lagos in Anambra because the need of these two states are different....wisdom 1 Like |

Kokolet11: You should tell that drunk that pretends he’s your father to “shut up”. If he had spent more time on your upbringing rather than staggering from one joint to another begging for free ogogoro, you would have learnt not to insult people for no reason. If he hadn’t stolen all your mither’s asewo earnings, you would have had some education and known how to defend your arguments and not resort to daft insults. Anu mpam. 1 Like |

He had the opportunity to shake Nigeria and effect historical change but he thought he was god when people started bowing to him. A black man is too unstable to stay on course and achieve political greatness. Till this day Malcolm X is my hero not some rich spoilt brat called Ojukwu . |

hammer6F: That NnamdiJonathan is a yoruba, very likely and most probably a DSS spy sent here to see if Igbos are plotting Biafra in this forum. They always think everything Igbo does is because they want Biafra. What they dont know is thst most Igbos will prefer a restructured, working and decent Nigeria to Biafra. 3 Likes |

OMANBALA1: The problem i have with you guys that are fond of criticising Mazi Kanu (and in your case, abusing him) and Igbos methods is that you don't proffer any viable alternative that can lead to the emancipation and progress of Ndigbo, whether within or outside a Nigerian framework. Your type are exactly the sort of Igbo our traducers like: compliant; malleable; apologetic; naive; hateful of IPOB; and pro 'one Nigeria'! One has to wonder the type of Nwafor you are when you gloss over or totally ignore the wickedness, marginalisation, murder and divide-and-rule tactics visited on Ndigbo from the late 60s to date! The fact that Buhari sent his fulani army down to the SE to murder your kinsfolk and kidnap Mazi Kanu and his parents (whatever you may think of their agitation), and you carry on with life regardless speaks volumes as to the type of 'Igbo' you are! You think we'd be here discussing this and sipping tea in a relaxed atmosphere if say a Igbo president sent predominantly Igbo soldiers to Daura or Kano to kill protesting youths in cold blood and kidnap their Emir and his parents? It's Igbo like you that give these bastards the chance to insult and look down on us as 'conquered third class citizens' who can't do diddly no matter the amount of injustice visited on them! Igbo elite deserve to be abused! They're even lucky sef....had it been the core muslim north where they were acting out their judas inclinations and supporting the 'nyamir/i' to decimate Muslim northerners and the north, they'd have been playing their golden harp by now! As we speak, this same north have told you to your face that you're 5% and wouldn't be treated on an equal footing with regions that supported them in the 2015 elections! They've also told you as the Anambra man you claim to be that the oyel they've been exploiting from your state for years is not of commercial quantity, hence you're not getting the 13% derivation that the likes of Lagos are presently enjoying, and that being the 'third class Nigerian' you are there's sweet fuckall you can do about it! Go figure! 7 Likes |
