How long does ICES take to verify your result and how much. Thanks
Kmgb:

ICES doesn't do verification, once your transcript is received, they start evaluation and get back to you once its ready.

i am signing up for the EE application, but need to get some fact clear. i want to apply alone though am married with 2 kids. i will like to declare my family in the EE profile but i will be the only one applying due to financial implication of the application fee and settlement fee. Can some one explain the implication of this? i will love my family to join me later when am already granted the PR and get things prepared for my family on arrival. thank you
Hi, its my plan too, don't think there's implication once we declare Family @ d initial stage

Hi Everyone, can anyone please assist me on how to go about sending of WAEC transcripts to WES. I understand that I have to go to Yaba with 10,000 naira and sworn affidavit. Please I'm very unclear with the letter of attestation from school principal, is it compulsory. I went to a boarding house, far away. Please help me as a matter of urgency.

U dont need any from sec school. Go to waec yaba.with
Photocopy of ur waec result
Affidavit for result confirmation
2 passport photos
2 envelopes
U will need 19000.not 10000 cos u will have to pay for courier

You must have settlement funds that will cover them all as of now even if they are not going with u. Ur spouse must do medicals and police report now. You can only file for them while in Canada.

Guys, i already have a reference number for the previous evaluation i did with WES which was completed on 4th July 2018. Based on the new development that requires secondary school certificate to be evaluated if you do not have a reference number after August 3rd 2018 for Nigerian Institutions, currently, i am trying to upgrade my evaluation report to include an additional certificate but i am being requested on the online application to submit my secondary school certificate and a new reference number will be generated after completing the application which should not be the case based on the new requirements stated on the website. Please i need more clarification on this.

The only advantage is the Canadian education and the fact that you are in Canada. A lot of the students i know that are already on their PGWP are applying for EE via PNP or FSW. The jobs easily available to them are mostly part time and depending on the study period, they might get more than a year of PGWP

I wonder why a " lot of students you know" are not able to get full time jobs. A lot of students I know including me were able to get good full time jobs after study and are applying under CEC stream which is a lot easier and less complicated. At least we dont have to provide any funds. I put in zero as proof of funds to Canada and still was eligible to apply.
If your study period is 2 years and above, you will get 3 years work permit. You only need to work one year full time (52 weeks) and 1560 hours or 2 years part time and you become eligible to apply.

Please I need assistance with WES verification for ESM Benin Republic. Has anyone experienced any setback in the verification? The school said they didn’t get the email or even physical sent. Their old email is not functional.Even after giving WES their operational email,
, called their customer care, still there hasn’t been any positive response. Can someone please assist on a way forward, as I have exhausted all I can do.

@newmum please respond to my email. Thanks

We were talking about job after study, the guy was talking about part time job during study. He didn't understand.. even the former counts as u stated.

@glitteringstar and other elders in the house. I need ur advise on my case:

I actively started this Canada PR in Apr. Got my IELTS and ECA just came in Aug 20. So I’m good to dive in but something new just came up at work. I have been transferred out of Nigeria to a Northern American country and I should be out Nov/Dec this year but I don’t want to stop this journey for my kids sake. Now my dilema:I have all my POF in 9ja and everything needed for the application. Is it possible to update my location and where to submit my passport when my PPR eventually happens? Should I proceed with my application or wait till I am out before I submit my profile? I am open to all suggestions.

A bird in hand is worth 100 in the bush. Why not start your EE asap? What if you get your COPR before Nov/Dec or you think its not possible? Pray for speedy process.

Finally, yes I think , you can change where you submit your Passport upon PPR.

I'll advise you go ahead with your application. If you're sure of ITA soon, you can even submit your application before leaving for North America. When PPR comes, IRCC will direct you on passport submission.
Congrats on the new job.

How true is it that with a job offer one does not need a Proof of fund. Your thoughts?
Please, should it be a Canadian job offer or a Nigerian job offer

Did you mention your previous visa refusals in your application?
The order of processing seems to have changed.

Hi All, I just got a request mail for Schedule A. I was denied a US visa previously, but have since travelled to other countries. My medicals have still not been passed. AOR is July 30th. Is there any cause for concern?

Nothing more to add... This is what i would advise you to do as well... Dive in the pool if your CRS is high you will get ITA today and since you have POF, you can actually submit before monday.

Good day everyone. I got AOR on the 15th of August, same day, my account was updated to background check in progress and medicals has not been passed. What stage would I call this. Anyone with similar experience?
I thought medicals should be passed before background check.

Similar experience.....
AOR since Aug 2.
I guess the order of things after AOR no longer follow what it used to be, especially since beginning of August.

I dunno what stage follows what stage again.
Anyone with more info on this can share.
