yes, also kevin akpoguma
I think with the availability of Balogun, Ekong,Omeruo and Awaziem.

I don't see any reason for Uduokhai and Akpoguma who are not ready to play for us.

The FB like Dresser,Deji etc who really want to play for Nigeria should be considered.

TheSuperNerd:
Ebere Eze (QPR), Semi Ajayi (Rotherham Utd) and Fikayo Tomori (Derby County) are all in action currently in the English Championship.

Joel Asoro is on the Swansea bench.

Meanwhile in the UCL final qualifying round (the Playoffs), Chuba Akpom starts from the bench for PAOK Salonika as they take on Ebuehi's SL Benfica. As you all know, Ebuehi is still out with a long term injury.

Ebere Eze and his QPR crashed 3-0 at home to Bristol City. They have lost all their 4 games for this season and are deeply rooted at the bottom of the Championship table.

Spot on. I am particular about those young strikers, this is the time we want to start seeing them. We didn't progress beyond the group stage in Russia because we didn't go with strikers. We need to start building a new attacking force from now.

Lol komekn don start, you know I speak the truth despite I hardly agree with you and forgiveness

You call them a high flying club ?
You see say you be bad belle, this is an African club trying to tempt a player who plays for Germany

O common sir komekn don't start ooo

In the context of African football please l stand to be corrected but the Egyptian league is possibly the best in Egypt.

In this regard also considering the considerable financial muscle of this club. It is high flying in the context of African football.

The reality is Osimhen has not played up to 120 minutes of Bundesliga football. That's in two seasons.

He us not a current outstanding talent. He couldn't even get into Brugge he failed the trial.

Are these the attributes of outstanding talent.

I dont think going to Germany is the problem. Going to Wolfsburg especially when you had an opportunity to go to Arsenal was the problem.

It's not guaranteed AT ALL. Do you know the quality in Arsenal U23 the intense competition and then consider the young international players coming on trial from Brazil, France, Spain and Argentina.

When I say to some people that some of these boys will struggle in English non league. Some of you start to spit fire and brimstone from your mouths.

90% of English players including Nigerian origin or not will rather play non league than go to Sporting Lisbon B team.

In a non league club some may pay you £3k a month not all some. In Portugal some B players are on €1200 a month. And there is no guarantee of making it.

However, After struggling in non league you may find yourself if you do well in the Championship and then the EPL. There are many examples.

This Chuba Akpom sef. Him still dey chop bench for PAOK. Comes in as an 88min sub.

Chuba has had multiple opportunities but has failed to impress. He was a baller at youth level but could not make the transition to first team football.

Now he is in Greece trying to salvage his career or what is left of it.

There are better strikers in non-league than him at the moment. But they don't get the opportunities but when they do. They get noticed and rise rapidly.

Ademola Lookman was playing Sunday football not even non league when Chuba was making waves at Arsenal youth team. The next Thierry Henry etc.

Dude abeg shift.

O boy you harsh o. The guy has dreams of playing for his fatherland having had a taste of it and he is doing what he can to make his dream happen. It may or may not come to fruition. But to blast him like that is wrong. This is why some players choose not to play for Nigeria at all.

Our left and right wing rest on these four players for now;

Onyekuru and SiMoses for the left wing, Kalu and Bazee for the right wing.

Nota bien; Success and Musa are strikers not wingers.

With time, Ademola, Danjuma, Gong, Chukwueze et al, would come to stake claims. The first two are more proven ready for now and should be fast tracked to increase the pool and make competition more fierce. Left wing would den be Onyekuru, SiMoses and Ademola, while right wing would be Kalu, bazee and Danjuma.

Loaded to the tilt...they all fast and skillful but i am worried that most are small forwards.....will they convert free kicks and corner kicks?

Hello everyone, Does anyone know when Rohr will release his list of 23 players for AFCON 19 Qualifiers.

I am so much interested in the list as it will speak volume and more on the Man-Rohr. It will tell/show us where we are heading to.

You don't need to make it to the championship, just excel in the cup games. In August, Dele Alli played for MK Dons when they beat United 4-0, in February, he was already in the Premier league with Tottenham.

Consequently, I don't understand, people, why Anthony Nwaekeme or Fanendo Adi are being snubbed, by stats they are our most prolific strikers and are very experienced.

I know you will say bad belle.

But why would a high flying club buy a player who has done nothing. It doesn't make any sense.

Consider all the proven strikers across the globe they can or should buy. And after a global search they bought a youth player who is not even outstanding at youth level.

Because it is only you who feels he has done nothing. He has proven he can fight for a spot by making a number of appearances in the bundesliga and he showed his quality in a number of friendlies during the season.

Rohr can be cut throat with selections and I expect at least 10 players not to return. Onazi and Ighalo I am almost sure of.

Akpeyi
Ebuehi (presently injured)
Echiejile
Joel
V. Moses (retiree) and
Ighalo.

I don't think replacing this 6players will unsettle the team. If my calculation is right, That's less than 30% including Ebuehi a potential returnee and V. MOSES an already retired player. Excluding these 2, will bring the numbers down to 4 which is well below 20% and I think it is fair enough and the way to go if we are truly serious...

Of what use will it be if we continue with the above players bar Ebuehi... What do they still have that we haven't seen?

Is it Akpeyi a 30year old third choice NT Gk?
Echiejile a pensioneer?
Joel, a player who has failed repeatedly to come to party?
Victor Moses a retiree who is gone for good?
Or Ighalo?

Don't forget we don't have to much time to prepare for AFCON 19. We must qualify and at the same time have a good showing in the biennial event.

Nobody is expecting a total or half overhauling of the team.

It doesn't have to be a Tsunami, but having just two new inclusions is way too small. It has to be a reasonable number.

Yes we need young defenders who are good.

I am only concerned about balogun because he is injure prone, forger about being 30......A 33 old thiago and miranda was a delight to watch at the world cup despite them crashing out against belgium at the quarter finals.....Brazil just named their squad and thiago silva is still there.

We gonna use that we have,we cant force those that dont wanna play for us to play for us
