I want to book my flight ticket to Dubai this week.But my frieñd is telling that if I dot book for hotel on arrival;I might be rejected at Nigeria departure..

That's the rule. But even after booking reservation at the hotel they might still not grant you visa.

Where do you want to stay in Dubai ? You need hotel reservation and if you are not trusted enough, they might call your hotel to confirm.

Bros you should have ask this question in uae discussion threat,
But to answer u I book reservation during mine at bookings.com, even though I didn't pay for it I leta cancelled it after I printed the booking, but everything boils down to u been smart and stood ur ground when those immigration idiot came asking, all they want from u is money and once u show any sign of weakness they take advantage of it and make u pay too much money.
So try and hold like 500 usd or so. And do the booking stuff at the website, when are u coming

I was in Dubai last week and came back on Monday. It’s a very nice hotel I must say and cheap too. 120 to 150 AED per night. That’s like 12k to 14k per night.
