I think some noob needs to change their orientation, when they hear mtk they write it off as if it doesn't rate anywhere. Somebody will just sit down somewhere and think out of nowhere that SD is the ultimate. Yes SD is crazily uptimised chipset but there are some mtks that performs great than certain SD.
Note : i'm not techno or infinix fan ooo
Xiaomi all the way grin
Baba.... Even Xiaomi mtk na still write off. Mtk no get lvls abeg. Terrible chipset. angry

Post NL isn't as reliable as it used to. It will eventually move. I had one that was delayed like that for a month, several others from the same post NL which were sent later got to me before that particular item moved from the 'warehouse'

i refuse to believe any p60 is better faster and efficient than sd636. Me that i dey compare my note 5 ai performance to mi mix 2s or even higher. I never experience any lag since i buy am o, the 6/64. and i don play like 15 games now cheesy
I watched a Snapdragon 636 vs Helio P60 speed test on YouTube and the P60 won. While SD 845 surely reigns supreme over any present MTK chipset, MTK processors are not shi.t as you must have thought. Tecno and Infinix are the ones who keep using shitty MTK processors on their overpriced devices

I don't know o, but correct me if I'm wrong, where would p60 be ib the hierarchy of mtk chipset, flagships, or upper midrange and where would sd 636.

I'm not sure ntel is ready to do business. Their app had been working all along I wonder why they didn't integrate the wawu package into the app.

Subbing from the app isn't working. I tried upgrading to the unlimited plan. It didn't go through and I have money in my account

Just the way you upgrade phones, be upgrading the way you see women. We're not in 1950. Statements like this show that you reduce women to household accessories.

How do u guys even login to the apps? I have never for one day login successfully. It will be asking for a pin and if I try to create, it will tell as invalid or something like that. Ntel na useless in services . Only their internet package is crazy and second to none.

The Helio P60 is an upper mid-range chipset, and it's meant to be a competitor to the SD660. However, it's performance is closer to the SD636.
Mediatek have taken a break from making flagship grade chipsets for now.

Frankly speaking never had that in mind when I was replying his messages. On the contrary personally I feel some stuff such as modding, tweaking, flashing etc should be channeled to dedicated threads since this particular thread is more of a general Xiaomi discussion thread.

Even on XDA there are general discussion areas & advanced threads where noobs are not even allowed to post but observe only. Thus we cannot bear to see newbies tweaking their gadgets thinking it's the norm, complicating things for everybody here.

There is also the issue of offering assistance to potential brick victims when you start talking modding & flashing, the dude aside being a noob himself is not gonna take such responsibility. Funnily he was even making reference to "Google is your friend" phrase like he was told that when he had brick issues earlier.

When this thread was created Xiaomi products were a niche & relatively unknown in Nigeria, thereby making this thread a sort of support group for the few users but it's obvious this thread is far more than that now.

Good points, if anyone wants to recommend rooting, installing a custom recovery, and installing custom ROMs amongst other things; it will be best to include a disclaimer and a warning, probably something along the lines of "Brickland...so close you can almost smell it" or "Your phone might make a stop over in brickland, beware".

Hello guys, help a brother out here.

I'm trying to resurrect a Hard bricked RN5 AI which just got caught in the anti roll back net arrrrrg!!! I just need an authorized Mi account to complete the flashing process in EDL mode.

Phone has an unlocked bootloader and is completely dead aside the Qualcomm USB driver which shows up on my win 10 device manager.

Never knew one needed to be authorised to resurrect a dead device even in EDL mode

If you got an account authorised to flash a device in EDL mode, kindly help a brother out...

Thanks people...
