Call VFS Abuja office to inquire on the status, but tracking it on VFS site should do justice. If otherwise, call the embassy for a withdrawal.
I don't know when last SA embassy conduct interview or you simply means VFS?

There could be inconsistency in your new and old bank statements. They keep copies of all your previous applications.

You must write a letter to address it. if your situation has changed since you last applied let them know. Otherwise tell them to confirm from the bank that your present and past bank statements are genuine.

I hope the statement you submitted was stamped and signed by the bank?

For this refusal, if not properly cleared you might be placed on a ban.

The professional body for engineers in SA is called ECSA, you can browse about them and see their requirements. You can apply as a candidate engineer or professional certificated engineer. The process takes about 3-4months so you need to start early.

I don't wanna write what is not good enough
Thanks, Guru'

Tnx alot for this

I just downloaded the form as a candidate engr. But I don't understand the info they demand.
Eg I was asked exams passed. Am I attaching anything to the form? Is there a court procedure also?

Pls kindly guide me tru so I can conclude this soonest.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by paulavon: 9:55pm On Aug 25, 2018
You need to certify your degree certigicate and send it along with the completed form. ECSA will need to evaluate your degree and tell you the right professional designation you qualify for. You are required to pay their fees for registration and evaluation of your degree.

If your bank is willing to address a letter to them confirming the authenticity of the old and new statements. A letter from you might not be enough to prove your case.

The parents should apply for passport for the child using the unabridged birth certificate and their ID documents.

Then, if the child is travelling with either parent alone, they should have a letter stating that the other parent who is not travelling gives his/her consent for the child to travel with the dad/mum as the case may be.

This last past is very important.

Thanks for the prompt response.
1)U are saying the child can get a south African passport. Then does she need a Nigerian visa?
2)I heard though not sure that south Africa does not accept dual citizenship.

1. Yes. So long as the child was born in South Africa and as you said the parents are permanent residents.

2. They allow dual citizenship but the terms vary depending on the circumstances.

As per the child needing if a visa, if you can get a Nigerian passport for the child then no need for visa.

But again home affairs officials can be very interesting sometimes so you may need to speak to a lawyer there to help guide you.

You can start with how your critical skills would be beneficial to South Africa. It's called critical skills for a reason wink

So you are best poised to answer this question
