Some cancelled request dey pain o, especially when its a long trip request that can fetch 4-5k

Shortly, the 2nd driver got the same request while I'm still waiting for the rider to request again. cry iyaf pain me gon.

Now 20mins. No request here. VGC all d way
I go to the pickup location used previously when such happens cos I am most likely to get the request again if the person is actually going on a trip

Many riders don't know how the app works but look down on you when you try to educate them on how to use. They believe drivers are low class people not knowing that it's conditions that made many to drive.
There was one rider that chose a bus stop as her pickup location, called her when I got to the location only for her telling me to ask around for a certain hotel (they believe everyone is like them that knows all hotels around). Took my time to explain to her that she only need to let the GPS pick her location then set destination. Only for her to repeat the same thing.
Back to the one that told me to ask around for a certain hotel, she ask for a landmark around so that she can direct me. Naugthy me used a school as a landmark cos I know people like that won't know places like that except hotel, bars,

Taxify gave me 15 trips reactivation bonus + Uber's 17 trips left.
I was already dreaming of how I get 10k bonus from both app.
Anyway, I can still make 16 trips on Uber but 5 trips on taxify is what I am not sure of. I hope to get both.
Thanks insurance will take it up.
I was lucky that the bumper is made of rubber, no cracks on it with the was it was folded.
It's even the loss of my number plate that is stressful

That taxify 5k bonus nah saarra money o...15trips in one week?

...and nah so I miss the bonus too.

What if he has 3rd party insurance only
It's ok to try and get comprehensive insurance. I wasn't with much money left when I wanted to start driving but I made sure I paid for insurance 80k or so

You have your blame too. If someone is dragging road with you, see them as a crazy person, and let them go. This happens constantly to me, I just take a deep breath and let them go. I just say to myself silently "abeg carry your wahala go". Learn emotional intelligence.
Did I tell you I dragged the road with him?
I stopped immediately I noticed his gragra but he thought I was like people that drag road with other drivers, so drove towards my lane to block me down. He yanked off the bumper in the process.
Come to think of it, WOULD HE HAVE GIVEN ME MONEY IF HE WAS RIGHT(race dragging with him)?

I picked 3 girls from UNILAG, when I asked for destination, "Oga, just follow Ur fone GPS, I have put the address there" was her response and continued on their gist...from the app, destination was V.I whereas I heard one of the girls say the place they were going is in Shomolu.

Me I just acted the mumu they expected and drove on...they noticed I was going the wrong way, the girl in front asked me if I was using the GPS, I just showed her on my fone, that was when she realised she had put a wrong destination address.

Las Las, I got ₦1200 for a ₦800 trip

Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

CONTACT US ON 09032614208 OR 08060675824. More details on tracker: https://mymoto.com.ng/why-you-should-install-the-mymoto-security-tracker/

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

Guys, I intend to take Taxify from Festac to Ajao Estate tomorrow and also get to Computer Village. I hope this third mainland bridge thing won't make we spend my life savings on the trip? I don't know anywhere in Lagos, please advice. Will there be heavy traffic on any of these routes?

Do gokada, alternatively enter shuttle bus or okada to second rainbow then enter oshodi bus and enter bus to 7&8 bus stop then cross finish the journey with leg or bike. When you're done come out and enter oshodi bus then from there to computer Village.
cool

If these are your routes, then you have nothing to worry about. You won't be going towards the island so you don't have to worry about the bridge.

This can only happen on taxify. Imagine after waiting for 22min minus t the driving time to the pickup location, she came out to start taking pictures with her family. Had to call her attention to it the I have been here for more than 20mins, you should have done this before requesting for a ride.
Rider: can't I take pictures with my family, I am taking an international flight. AND YOU SAID YOU ARE DRIVING TAXIFY.
The bolded statement seems annoying cos they don't know the difference between a personal driver and a PAYG driver. So I must waste the whole day on an 8km trip because you have the mindset that you are paying money not minding the driver also came out to make MONEY. Time is money
