I am afraid you’ve found yourself pleading for help on the wrong platform. This platform was created to dish out instructions/advices concerning applications for admission to Canadian institutions and Student permit. People have been lucky to gain help in the payment of their study permit applications or admission applications from successful benevolent monikers, but that’s just as far as it can go.
Unfortunately, this is a DIY group and not a scholarship platform.
Make use of Google to find out about scholarship schemes for international students in Canada and the likes.
May God be with you.

What kind of answer is dis.......he asked for someone who can get him sponsor you are saying scholarship....it is well......

@segtak25, I'll advise you to apply to other schools as soon as possible, get you admission before the end of this year and apply for your visa latest February. The processing time would not exceed 6-7 weeks around February.
Thanks Newman1010.
Most of those schools admission are not out yet.
Concordia University is not out as at yesterday.
Simon Fraser University is also not out, they said till October.
University of Saskatchewan also is not out.
Most of them are saying Sept or oct.

By the time I applied around that time, don't you think the admission decision will be made next year.

Or do you know any uni that process admission on time

These are the sets of people that have made this study permit process cumbersome and unfairly difficult for genuine applicants from Nigeria simply because of their ingenuity. If you lack the funds to pursue Canadian education, stay back! It's as basic as that! I wonder how the mods of this highly informative forum will allow this slide! So when you eventually get to Canada how do you intend to fund your fees? It'll mean that you may have to break immigration laws by absconding from school, thus messing up the ladder for present and future genuine applicants!

I understand what you are saying. i have personally requested for my GCMS twice and my kindred in kenya put information that was not in my application both time.

Lagos2canna:

Copy and paste gcms note, I have seen similar reasons like this, if your refusal is from Kenya don't waste your time applying for gcms note.

@mcobex @jnyuwa02 @bbclue I was that refusal that come from kenya don't need gcms note pls help the poor boy

All refusals need a GCMS notes, including Kenya. All GCMS notes are generic, but personalized to the particular applicant. GCMS help narrow the reasons of refusal further than the letter originally given to the applicant disclosing refusal. All refused applicants, including Kenya should order for their GCMS notes. It helps shed broader light as to the reason of refusal. GCMS also help reveal potentially eye opening information. For example I ordered my GCMS and found out CIC has been communicating with my school to find out if my admission is real. Some people have even found out a mistake by VO through GCMS which has led to them calling out the VO’s bluff, leading to their approval.

For example, a GCMS note I am going through lately said the applicant’s husband and four children are resident in the Ukraine that the applicant had not shown she would return to Nigeria. But this applicant and family had never ever visited Ukraine, but all reside in Nigeria. Another applicant’s GCMS I was going through, said he is been sponsored by a third party when in fact this applicant is self sponsored. These are blunders only GCMS can reveal and if the blunders pointed, can lead to approval. I advice every refused applicant to get their GCMS notes.

In addition, some of us have the require funds and scholarship/ Sponsorship and are still refused based on funds. It has actually gotten this bad. How will anyone be looking for a random/unknown person to sponsor his/her studies? too much smartness and lack of integrity is doing more damage to us as a country.

This is not a charity platform. If people could be coming here to source for sponsors, then that means they’ve ideally landed a scholarship. Who would freely give an individual anonymously 15-20 million on an anonymous platform without knowing anything about the person. Besides he said he’s looking for a sponsor with 15-20 million bank statement meaning he might not even need the money, he’s just seeking a means to enter Canada. Please let’s be wise. I offered him the best solution to his problem which is to go and properly search for a scholarship not begging and asking anonymously for sponsorship without deserving it.
It is well, moving forward

Thanks for pointing that out. I misread it. But I think she is a better candidate than most in terms of getting visa: PhD and full scholarship. All she has to do is to show home tie. It will complicate her application if the same supervisor who is funding her will also act as her visa sponsor except I also misread that part.

I believe she will get the visa easily without much complications.

Aptly said. Her/his chances are very bright. He/she has the kind of profile and circumstance that fascinates the VOs

Hello House,

I am a prospective doctoral student. I have a Bachelors degree with a 2.1 (4.04/5). I have a Masters with 4.75/5 (distinction). I have 8 publications, 4 conference papers and about 2 years of experience as a lecturer. My discipline is English. I want to apply to 3 good universities with some funding for PhD candidates. So far, I've researched into University of Alberta, McMaster University, University of Saskatchewan, McGill University and Memorial University of Newfoundland. I need to narrow down my list to 3, especially those with good chances of admission, given my educational background, and good funding (I'm currently not working so funding is important for me). I'll appreciate any advice or suggestions I can get at this point.

Apply for undergraduate program if you are ready to study.

Thank you. I think renewal will be permissible (see attached image and link).

https://travel.stackexchange.com/questions/87429/can-i-travel-to-canada-with-valid-visa-on-old-expired-passport

A quick update.

1) There is no problem with renewing your international passport in Nigeria after obtaining a Canadian visa.

2) You can renew your Nigerian international passport even if it’s valid for more than 6 months.

Regards.

Hmmmn, Setemi take your time to look around you families, friends, neighbours etc. If this is the will of God for your life; you will definitely get someone that will not just give you SOA but will assist with payment, trust God and I pray His grace will shine on you soon . This is a public forum be guided. It will end in praise and most importantly pray

Looks like your chances are great. Don’t narrow the list yet. Try and obtain supervisors first, I think the list may narrow itself down and possibly more may need to be added for you to arrive at 3 schools in which to apply.
