This can only happen on taxify. Imagine after waiting for 22min minus t the driving time to the pickup location, she came out to start taking pictures with her family. Had to call her attention to it the I have been here for more than 20mins, you should have done this before requesting for a ride.
Rider: can't I take pictures with my family, I am taking an international flight. AND YOU SAID YOU ARE DRIVING TAXIFY.
The bolded statement seems annoying cos they don't know the difference between a personal driver and a PAYG driver. So I must waste the whole day on an 8km trip because you have the mindset that you are paying money not minding the driver also came out to make MONEY. Time is money
Next time, wait for her to take the pictures. When she is about to enter the car, just zoom off and cancel. Na she go dey beg you .You gonna get a better trip. After all, you wasted 22mins

Lolzz, Bros take heart it happened to me too this morning. Once they request for one yeye ride they feel like they own you and you have automatically become their personal driver.
I don't even blame them at all, they know drivers are desperate for request so they take advantage of that.
Again taxify no dey try, they should introduce cancellation fee and also charge for waiting time, you will see that they will sit up.
They can never try that on Uber because they know how Uber operates, if it's Uber u will earn something at the end of the day if you choose not embark on the trip and cancel. Even if you cancel at this point you loose because they have waisted your time already, if you dare complain they will now rate themselves low.

It's even better than all those other apps because you can
-Listen to your own music
-Choose whether to use your AC or not.
-You can even complete multiple trips at once!

It took them 22mins to load the vehicle after my arrival and still had the time to take pictures. I just told her I wasn't going again. Cancelled and moved on. Shikena

I’m going to have you reported if I cancel this trip myself. Meanwhile I’ll still get my 400 naira refund from Uber and have you blocked.

The best thing to do is never reply messages if there have been provocations

See this rider, she thought she was dealing with a novice.
Me: please where are you going?
Rider: I have entered it on the app.
Me: I wouldn't ask if I can see it, and I have some places I don't go to.
Rider: you will get to know when you start and if you can't go, you can end the trip then.
See mumu.
Luckily for me, I got requests on both apps same time and took my time to ask for both destinations. Taxify to kofo abayomi, still not ok for me going to the island at the time of the day but the devil I can see is better that the one I can't see.
I was at costain when all these happened. Just went straight to pick the taxify rider going to island. I already knew she was going to where drivers don't like going grin

I usually dont wait for more than 7 mins max for a rider tht the trip is not above 25km. I dnt care cos my time is precious. If you know you are not ready why request for a ride.

Ago palace is good to go especially weekends but dnt ever go beyond Cele if not u will regret it. Okota would hv fetched u more money than Kofo Abayomi if u hv done the trip and getting return trip there is sure.

How do you want to reach ago palace way without going beyond cele. There is always one devilish traffic at ago palace way junction every weekend, you can spend 30mins there.

Taxify requests are scarce on my phone.
I needed the trip cos I had 5 trips left to get 5k from taxify.
And I usually don't wait more than 5 mins for a rider

Why must u take badagry express way to ago palace.? U can avoid that nonsense route (badagry express) by negotiating thru aguda to link cele- okota bridge.

This is for everyone driving on taxify. Your information is not confidential.
The rider has access to your picture, contact number and the most delicate is YOUR CONTACT ADDRESS.
Check the invoice sent to the rider after a trip and see all your details included.
Who can compose well and call taxify out.
