My point is you drop a player on the back of sever poor national team showing, and that does not mean he won’t be invited subsequently. A player has no business being a regular bench warmer especially when there are other deserving players dying for a chance. Modified Let me sum this up by saying my point is find the best competition for the regulars. TheLoneCitizen: |

komekn:Sadiq is a very awkward football player. I get quite gobsmacked when I see how highly rated he is here. His people should better explore leagues in the gulf region where he will comfortably make decent money before sunset. I will be more than happy to eat my words if it turned out I was wrong about him. 2 Likes |

Mickael2: Wining on penalty gives you a win. You get points for it. Sweden were ranked 24th While Colombia were on 16th. |

Kog45: Bundesliga 2 is better than some top divisions. In my opinion, better than belgium and perhaps the eredivise as it is today. The match, i am watching is not bad. |

Oga I can believe anything now .some times it seems as though some players will never get a look in. I would like to see Semi Ajayi who just got promoted from League 1. . There are players who have clocked hundreds of minutes in the past in the Championship. But the thing with Ajayi is he doesn’t need a FIFA clearance, so I understand. Kog45: |

We have no option but to turn to the lower divisions. We’ve seen Madu and Amuzie who are largely bench warmers. Let’s see what Collins can bring. Kog45: |

Idowu is the only left back we have now. I think he is okay. But that kind of player should not even be on the bench of a strong team. There is still lots of work to do in this SE team. Pearlk: |

The problem is who would you invite instead? Do we have forwards scoring consistently? Or would you invite an equally average forward playing in a lower league? We are not spoilt for choices in attack. edi287: |

Homebased players will always get an opportunity to showcase themselves. I’m talking of players who will hardly get a chance whether for the main SE or the CHAN team. Players need opportunity. We have a rough idea of the best players we have in the home front based on what we have seen from the WAFU nations cup, CHAN and the Atletico friendly. If these players are truly not good enough for he main SE, what’s the point? Granted we can pick a few of them that are really good. BascoVanVeli: |
