We are too quick to pass judgements

Someone came of the bench in 2 matches on some of my people here already started calling him a bench warmer.

I wanted to correct the wrong information which credited Iwobi with the assist, the correction obviously wasn't meant for you since you have your mind made up even when you're not watching the match.
you are not correcting any information.

Earlier today, when TheGoodJoe said Kelechi played well against Algeria, you discredited him with some screenshot from Complete Sports even if he was making a point from his perspective of the match

I have equally posted screenshots from the Fantasy Premier League site to discredit your own point. That site is more valid than you are, so, your perspective is null and void tongue

arguing over assist
claiming that a 2nd division league is better than a first division league in another country just because a Nigerian player moved to a club in that 2nd division league

I saw the match, the ball brushed off him a little to reach monreal.

Did you watch the match? He was starved of service but still played a part in the first goal.

Starved of which service? It's clear the Leicester players were bent on releasing him over the top, for all the talk about Iheanacho having pace(some even said he is faster than Kayode) is a myth. He could hardly catch up with any ball, if it was Vardy he would have gotten at least one or two chances from those balls you thought were wayward today, when he was subbed I gnashed my teeth, knowing fully well that with this performance he won't be starting the next match. How many times did you see him joining the build up? I mean if you are not going to be playing off the shoulder of the defender then drop deep and create, nothing was going for him today though, even when I thought he was going to score that guy jumped in. Beginning of the season though make we just dey watch

The main question is wouldn't it have reached Monreal with or without brushing his legs slightly? Let's assume Iwobi was a defender and Monreal was offside, would that slight touch have been enough to prevent the goal been ruled out for offside?

Meanwhile, Leon Balogun starts for Brighton and Give Albion, hopefully more people can gnash their teeth and weep for careers that are not theirs after this match grin

Well from my view in relation to the speed and rajectory of the ball I say it wouldn't have reached monreal. its just like a bullet, the slightest touch would change its destination.
Bottom line is the officials deemed it satisfactory to credit iwobi with the assist, after all city conceded via a handball today.

Well in that case, TheGoodJoe brought up the idea that Kelechi played well in the game citing what the Algerian coach was reported to have said, it is fair I posted the player's ratings in that match, as reported.
Now I see what this was all about. This argument had nothing to do with Iwobi just like I suspected.

Is the Belgian league better than the Championship in England or Bundesliga 2 in terms of overall quality??

Just because it is first division in a country does not make it quality.

Personally, i would want all Nigerian players to be in the top leagues but we do not have that right now.

That was my very first post. Read my other posts. This is where we differ. You want the team to take on Liberia to be dominated by homebased players. I’m saying if any homebased players should be considered it should be the very good ones from those we have been seeing, after you made a case that some are still active despite the NPFL is on hold. There are lots of our players in Europe doing pretty well who haslve never been given the opportunity to be seen. What’s the point if most of your homebased players who we have seen can barely break into the main SE team?

Missed the first half of Arsenal's game. Was a bit surprised when I saw Laca coming on for Iwobi at half time.
Iwobi will probably not start the next game. Emery doesn't play around. He'll keep Iwobi on his toes for the rest of the season

Honestly,it doesn't matter if it would've reached Monreal anyways. It touched Iwobi. Statistically it's his assist. That's all.

Really, we can argue both ways. For example Someone leaves the Spanish league and starts from the bench in several games in the Championship, some can conclude from that, that the Championship is better than La Liga. There are several factors. Some players may not measure up immediately in a more physical challenging league and may need time to settle down. We are too quick to make conclusions. Belgian clubs have not fared badly in UEFA competitions. Really, it would be hard for us to rate these second division leagues.Uche Agbo has decent games in La Liga. Is he suddenly worse than Championship league players because he plays in Belgium?

I made it clear. Overall quality not individual player quality.

Agbo was a relegation team player in la liga but is playing for one of the best teams in Belgium.

Firstly, I never said it was a fine assist.

Arsenal’s other forwards did not have nice first half stats either.

The change was purely tactical. The ratings are out.

Exactly, based on the ratings, Iwobi was clearly rated the worst player for Arsenal.
This is by no way an attack on Iwobi but truth must be told at all times, irrespective of who is involved, be it your favorite player or least favourite player.
We owe that much to ourselves as least.

Oga talk true u didnt watch the match, and you didnt watch leicester last game either, Vardy didnt score any goal last game nor had an assist, but rather red carded, I watched todays game, kelechi dropped deeper, helped with defending a lot and initiated counters, two counter was halted by maddison and gray, he had to even drop to the wing and gave that cross resulting to a goal by gray who hasnt scored for leicester this year.
Pace is not all in football, Nacho had a good game today, we too like bad belle. I dont think vardy will play next game so coach will have to conserve his only remaining striker for next game.

When and where did I say Vardy scored in their last game or even made reference to their last game? I recommend you read properly before you type.

if Iheanacho did all these things you said then I guess the coach is a fool for subbing him for a winger who has at least some pace that can be used or why did he get the lowest rating according to Skysports abi them too get bad belle?
