What can we possibly produce?
Who else thinks Okeowo Olasubomi Edwards was right?
We don't produce jackshit. Nigerians love lies. Nigerians wants a politician that will tell you we are the best.

The first day I fell in love with politics was the day Bola Ige came to my church. He gave us a wonderful, beautiful speech we have never heard before in our lives. Well researched, well rehearsed and there and then...... I fell for the game plan of this perfect gentle old man.

The day I saw Fashola live, the "performance" he gave is one of the best I ever heard in my entire life till date, one would have thought as the minister of "everything" today Nigeria would be the most lit country in Africa. But what's the outcome of all these sugarcoated oratorical speeches- we are still in 1880 while other are in 2018.

We can do this we can do that.
We have oil yet we import oil.....so what's the joy?
All the people interviewing him were all dressed in imported cloths. He was only trying to tell us to look inwards and put our comparative advantage to use.
Our strength lies in agricultural production. We can feed the world. That's his message!

Give a Nigerian a camera and ask him to study it for a year, give him money to produce it. Tell me what would be the outcome. We are not dumb yet get the fact its true we are not wired that way. We can have a few but majority can't!

The guy would use the money to eat and come back and tell you stories! And that's because we don't have the basic things of life. Food, shelter , water, even light sef and because we are in the dark and we can't see....we can barely get all these complex things done. Why not leave technology to Japan and Germany and focus on how to feed the world. That our strength....

He might not express himself like a real politician would cos he has the experience of just family politics........ I still see honesty in him.
He wasn't diplomatic and didn't consider anyone before making his statement but yet he spoke the bitter Truth. He was only been truthful. And that we as Nigerian don't want to hear!

I read, the comments on IG and Facebook and this man has been roasted. The fact that he is naive about Nigerian politics is even an advantage. Not the normal way we bring experienced thieves. Now am hearing that the government is budgeting 7.2 million to import maize because we can't feed ourselves. 550, 000 metric tons.

Can you imagine ?
