Good morning House, please does anyone has an idea on when Winter Semester usually begins? Applied for PGD @Memorial university Newfoundland but got denied admission due to something not been done right which I have applied for again and might be considered for Winter semester as stated on their reply. Just want to know so I could get the various documents needed to apply for TRV before time..Thanks |

mathy001: You can’t just apply like that. You need to read and understand the requirements of all the schools you are applying to, many want prospective students to first obtain supervisors before applying, a very few others do not and you will assigned supervisors after admission. Read and know the requirements of each school you are applying to. |

Oblongata: There is hope oh, you gotta keep hope alive. Many fall resuming students are in the same boat as you, including myself-with flight price skyrocketing everyday-waiting for that final nod from CIC. Good news is that most schools allow at most two weeks late resumption. So we are talking around September 18. Anything can happen before then. Be in prayers that we get the nod in time to make it to school, that been slapped with refusal is not our portion IJN. 7 Likes |

canadabyfire: And how you wan take carry that 62 credit load. That means you will be doing more than 15 courses in one year. FYI one course here is like 3 courses or more combined in Nigeria in terms of workload. |

You can use ilovepdf.com or just google merge pdf use any of the link that comes out on the search page You will also need to compress pdf as the max size per file is 4mb , can be done with that site above |

Inyuwa02, please is it ok to merge sop and imm1294 together? If not, please what's the best place to merge it? I guess it's ok to just upload imm1294 and imm5254 without signing them since it's an online application? Please anyone who feels these are stupid questions or questions treated before should please keep his opinions to themselves... Thank you 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by charlyduru: 1:49pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
henricson: All the immxxx forms have their respective slots for upload and they won’t merge when you try to merge it with another. You upload SOP IN THE client information section and merge other documents with your Sop in that section That section and the financial section are the only once that need merging probably. Please ensure To open the imm forms with adobe reader and do validate them 1 Like |

charlyduru: Thanks bro. I have validated the imm forms already. But schedule 1 temporary residence didn't have a validate option though. Was just family information imm5257 and imm1294 that has the validate option. Any ideas on the signing the forms? I can just leave it that way, yeah? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 2:42pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
henricson: It is important to follow instructions. Forms should go only to the places indicated. There is a small question mark tab next to all the areas that tells you where all the documents should go. Upload your Letter of Explanation and all other sundry pdf documents merged into one, in the Client Information area. Yes you do not need signatures appended to your CIC forms because you are online applicant. Good luck! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Dan90s: 3:03pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
2bpat: I can answer just the last two 2. You mustn’t apply through an agent to be considered for admission. I applied myself and got admitted, though it won’t hurt to apply through a TRU certified agent as long as the agent is ready to give you the application details so that you can follow up. 3. And if you don’t get in for the MBA program they’ll offer the PGD without need for you to apply again. 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by 2bpat: 3:48pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
Thanks for your answers and time. On sending document, if I send a copy of my transcript to TRU via email, will they give a conditional admission with that or the school must send the transcript to TRU from the onset. Kindly assist to clarify this and more. Thank you Dan90s: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Dan90s: 3:59pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
2bpat: Since you’re just applying, a copy of your transcript is what they need. It’s when you’re offered conditional admission that you have to make a request for your school to send your original transcript. Is it winter session you’re applying for? |

Does one need to pay #11k again for submission of passport? ladylco: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 4:54pm On Aug 26, 2018 |
Dan90s: For TRU approved agents in Nigeria, one of the advantages is that you won’t have to pay application fee. Maybe their MBA program works in such a way that if you are rejected you get placed automatically into a PGD. But I know from experience someone who was rejected into another program applying directly to TRU, they had to pay another application fee for applying into a PGD and admission was not automatic. |
