So you could spam the thread with silly "congratulations" messages?
As much as we're happy for all successful applicants, a like/share is enough to express this happiness. Unless you have a follow-up question to the shared "testimony", stop spamming the thread with shitty congratulations messages.

Are you for real?
Are you seriously f%&£@ing for real right now?

Thank you for the response. I have done the same thing on Friday, I hope they acknowledge it. Thank you

Canadiangod:

I did with hellofax. They acknowledged it within 24hrs.

I typed my WES reference number and placed it ontop of my cert (digitally) before sending it to them.

Good morning people.

I made a mistake while simulating my CRS. it was giving 472 until someone showed me my mistake. I recalculated and it gave me 429. I was so devastated.
My problem now is with the 472 mindset, I registered ices evaluation and I have paid but yet to send any documents.
Please, I want to know how I can get my money back.
I want to stay down while I look for a way to increase my CRS.
Thank you

Your interpretation of that post beats me. I'm surprised at the way you're sounding. Someone is praying for PPR and you say he's anticipating spamming the thread?

You honestly read my mind... I’m not sure which of his/ her messages I find more appalling..such anger and negativity spewing from only one person o. Plus no one should tell anyone how to respond (even though it was a ‘suggestion’). Smh. God help us all, we’ll all be alright las las.

It is well. I noticed a lot has changed on this thread, people getting rude about info, people getting really heady. I really think everyone of us here has been through a cloudy stage at one time or the other and need support. Sometimes page 1 isn't really clear about some questions, if u have an answer to such question, kindly respond and if you don't feel like responding please just ignore. The time used to respond in a rude way is better used giving a timely response. I thought this was a support group
Anyway, in other news....any one with a contact in OAU registry postgraduate school should kindly respond. Thank u

You can send me a pm

Go ahead with your evaluation. Simultaneously, start exploring ways to increase your score. Dont be downcast cos your CRS is low. Even those with lower scores are in the pool and also working towards increasing their score.

As a general rule, the sooner you commence ECA, the better especially if degree is from Nigeria. Good luck

To also add, the ECA when ready is valid for 5yrs. More than enough time to do something to boost your score. Once you have your ECA and IELTS (valid for 2yrs), enter the pool and continuing looking for ways to upgrade your crs score. The date you enter the pool helps you if there is a draw cut tie.

Good morning all .

I have been battling with WES for some time now (Since 2017) , and I need some help .
Dear Mr. Talkingboy,

World Education Services (WES) does not evaluate study from The Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (AATWA). If you wish to have your Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) included in your already completed evaluation report, please submit a copy of your certificate as issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Upon receipt of the ICAN certificate, WES will review and update the report as warranted.

The certificate ICAN gave me was what I have been sending to them since and they keep rejecting it . Do they want me to goan manufacture cert in OLUWOLE ni ? because I don't know what to do again .

Let's not be fast to condemn some people with sadistic mindset and opinions.

Psychological assessment will clearly reveal that some of them had issues while growing up while some of them grew up in love-starved environments. As a result of this, what makes us humans is lacking in them and they cannot but wonder why we act the way we do.

Let's just show them love as much as possible and when their excesses are getting much, we should report their posts and when it is getting too much the MODS should ban them.

My humble suggestion.

You can still go ahead with the evaluation. It's valid for 5 years.

I know how you feel, I've been in your kind of emotional state too. ICES don't offer refund, unless they initiate it by themselves as seen in their disclaimer, which happens if they can't evaluate a credential. I suggest the following options:
1. WES for example allows you to create an account, even pay till, when you're ready for your evaluation. If ICES allows the same, you may hold on till when you're ready for evaluation, may be next month may be next year. You may find out by emailing ICES, but make sure to title your message, ECA, quoting your reference number.
2. Go ahead with the evaluation, the earlier the better. Since ECA lasts for 5 years, whatever option you want to consider, even M.Sc is NOT up to 5 years, hence, ECA still covers.
3. You may look for someone who wants to do ECA with ICES, get their details, and go to your ICES tab to edit your details out for the new person. I would advise you contact ICES for this because it may have devastating effect. This should be considered if you think Canada is not worth it.

In my present state of mind - Serene, option 2 is the Best. Going with stonecoldcafe!
Good luck, Kings!

I see you are still steady spilling controversy here..been away for abit but clearly some people or rather somethings never change...I hope for more PPRs and ITAs..it encourages people to see the testimonies and gives hope so bye bye with your negativity

I would suggest he holds on writing IELTS, let him figure out how to boost CRS before committing himself financially again. But the ECA is better started ASAP.

My apologies for the language. We Nigerians do everything to the extreme and it touches me. Imagine someone is already anticipating spamming the thread. Tomorrow is Wednesday, you'll have the opportunity. But I suggest you simply like/share to make it easy to find useful information.

This isn't about Nigerians being extreme or sensitive. This is it about you being rude and unbothered.

Dude/girl that ain't your congratulations and neither is that person using your MB to send those spam congratulations. Please let's be civil and mature.

Thank you.

It’s just 4days after AOR, and I’ve been signing into my account to check for update more than once a day.

How did you people stay sane o? I’ve read the suggestions here, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

I don’t know how to handle this obsession.

God help me.

What was your shipping method? Standard Mail or DHL. My experience with Standard Mail without P.O. Box, my letters have ended in someone else box. These has happen to me on three different occasions, though outside Lagos. If that ll work for the fellow then no problem he could fill in his/her house address.

oh I see. I live in Lagos though maybe that's a factor. I used the standard mail.

NB. I usually get all my mails this way.

Take your mind off it and check once in a while. This is not my own first time of deaing with IRCC. Imagine me submitting application for study visa in march for an august 11 admission and they didnt reply me until August 30 after the school has declared my admission void. At least iit was a refusal sha. After AOR I havent checked my account since Friday i check once in two to three days. I know they will work on it but dont want to sweat it jare.

I just thought to say anyone who wants to start the express entry process should start with ECA first and should not do ielts until their ECA is ready or almmost ready. I see a lot of peple registering for ielts first and i shake my head. I did my ECA in 2015 and ielts in 2016, by the time i got eligible to get ITA, My ielts expired just before the next ITA and i had to redo it but my ECA didnt expire.

Let ECA be the first thing you do before ielts.

If it’s any consolation I’m 85 days post AOR. I’ve now reduced my daily log in to once or twice a week. I attended a planning for Canada session and I’m spending time looking into the MAP they prepared for me...it helps, but in all honesty it’s not enough. I try to read on NL posts and canadvisa daily, helps but still not enough... If I’m being honest, I can’t even say how I’ve managed to stay sane esp cos I’m not currently employed. If you’re currently working, I think it makes things a lot better...just try not to worry too much. For me, reading PPR announcements actually helps me stay very hopeful and positive. I hope you find something that works for you during this waiting time. Cheers!

2 times per day is small self. That is how it is in the beginning (for most people). After a while the compulsion to check every time will reduce. I can go a week now without checking my account

Now you know why we all on this thread all day helping out, throwing subs and brewing catfights (in that order) grin. Don't worry, the first 60 days are the worst (if your PPR will even take up to 60 days).
