She has yet to touch down in Nigeria and she's already running her mouth. All these whites and their boundless pride and disrespect for the blacks. The way they run down Africans churning out poverty figures from their mind, you'll think there are no poor, homeless people among them too. But alas the reverse is the case.
Why are Nigerians on Nairaland so anti-Nigerian unlike what obtains on Twitter? Why can't we talk back at these imperialists, and leave out local politics aside, some times? Trump's reported comment about Buhari that filled the cyberspace yesterday should have received a widespread condemnation and trolling of Trump from us, but no, Nairalanders would rather insult their president more.

The only US president who ever spent three terms in office, Roosevelt, was a crippled who ruled from wheelchair, but he saw America through the Second World War making it an unrivalled world power.
The Roosevelt you talk of if he was in Niggeria he would have ended up a beggar. You want to compare your country where only the lives of the rich are considered sacred to a country where they establish systems to help people realise their potential irrespective of their disabilities

is not her fault... even the almajiri begging for funds are the road side is enough for her to tag us poor.. I don't know why our politicians lack sense, they will steal our money and take to other countries, developing other countries while we remain underdeveloped.

Nobody is anti-Nigeria. Nigeria is what it is. Theresa May and Trump are not seeking any appointments from Nigeria and stand better to say their opinion without propaganda. How come we hear more about things in Nigeria when outside than inside Nigeria? Are Nigerian journalists biased, afraid or gagged? In all indices, Nigeria is a shithole country. There is nothing extraordinary about administering it. Sell oil and share the money. Simple as that. Yet the morons cannot get it right. How much oil is exported from Nigeria? How much is accrued to NNPC? Nobody knows. Nobody cares. Yeah! That's your economy. What economy?

Even among the educated folks, it is all about cram, pass and parade the certificates like chieftancy titles. No implementations. No applications. No serious national debates. Try engaging Nigerians on serious national issues. But bring up nonsense about Ghana vs Nigeria which is better in cooking fried rice, and their brains wake up. Of course Jesus will lavitate down to turn Nigeria to heaven.
Part of the Nigerian nonsense is greatly exacerbated by folks like Abagworo (Imo state) who in my opinion is the lowest of the lows any human being can be.

Nigeria needs to start creating 50,000 new jobs per day to keep employment rate at it's current level

What's the way forward my dear country?

Are we going to continue like this for the next decade?

And note that even if we have visionary leaders like Obama, Putin and Trump, Nigeria won't still work

Our problem as a nation is a collective development with our leaders sharing less than 10% of the overall inputs

Until we change our mindset, priorities, passion, fantasies, exposures, adventures, mental orientations, intellectual sophistications, psychological advancements, emotional inadequacies, social imbalances, religious approach, technological worldview and scientific inclinations, we are not going anywhere

We joke with almost everything that happens to us as a nation

We politicized everything

A President just called our President lifeless and instead of being sad and showing sobber reflection, we're busy hailing him and castigating our own

We're also the most confused people still living on this planet

You want Buhari to be out of office and go back to Daura but according to you

Saraki is corrupt, Atiku is a looter, Tambuwal is politically confused, Donald Duke is just wasting his time

You want the youth to take over but according to you

Sowore that can't even win an LGA election or even an SUG election

You're just being indecisive and quite irritating to the rest of the Western world

Start getting your priorities right and stop engaging in unnecessary inenarrable protest on social media

You can't vote in an illiterate into office and expect the performance of Clinton

So the NBS isn't reliable when it comes to Poverty figures but when they report that Nigeria is in recession, you will shine your gun to slam the government.

This is why Charles Soludo had a quarrel with Okonjo Iweala when she began thinking like you that the NBS is incompetent in its stats.

Anything statistics in Nigeria I will never subscribe to it

You are ahead of India yet you buy products they make. Products you cant make. They come here and live fat and exploit your people amd your people call them 'master'. Even your police amd soldiers offer them quality security amd make sure they are safe to run their business, privileges you will NEVER enjoy in their country.

She is equally alluding to mental poverty. Africans are mentally poor. It is very dishearten to read that the very people who sold Africans into the world of sentimental idiocy are now smacking down on deluded Africans.

Nairaland is a place of the filthy, uninformed, crude and outright liars who thrives on falsehood. it is high time many here ought to be censored here. the first place for fake news badmouth and unpatriotic element is here. one is tempted to think many of them are sponsored by the opposition, and those afraid of persecution. let them talk! but if it takes a lifeless president to give life to our economy so be it. After all, Jesus died in order to give us life. here in the face of a glaring truth many are prepared to laugh in your face and call it the biggest lie of our time, you are welcome!

You're correct, in recent times I'm beginning to loose interest on this Nairaland platform, because its supposed to be a forum where Nigerians help themselves grow but instead full on unnecessary comments...

British prime minister is correct, Nigeria slipped into the country with the highest poor people in the world in February 2018, I followed the report at world poverty clock, then it was 83 million Nigerians but now it has increased to 87million, lots of folks are arguing online and more Nigerians are slipping into poverty
