DaddyNimo:U don't need WAEC if U registered before 3rd of August. You have nothing to be worried about. I guess U r looking at the documents required, thats where U saw the WAEC as part of requirements, but I think that was updated for every applicant from Nigeria. I applied before 3rd August and also saw WAEC in my required documents, but after they acknowledged my certificate, my document status started showing " We are awaiting one document, which is transcript from school" .... So Ur focus should be on the document status and not where U r checking now. |

Congrats on your nomination. I was nominated by Manitoba too. Processing time cannotb be confirmed. Ranges from 19 to 200 days and longer in some extreme case. Your plan for medical and PCC is perfect. For the documents I personally got it readdressed because I feel it is not professional to address any letter to a body with another body's address on it. It is better you address to IRCC or To whom it may concern than sending a letter addressed to someone o another person. Its like writing a love letter to Tosinn and address it to Rukayat. No be gbege be that Madekay: |

veleta:reallY? @vifylove you would verify only masters if you are using ICES, but you would verify all if you are using WES. (including FINAL SECONDARY SCHOOL RESULT) 1 Like |

The bolded below doesn't seem to be correct! If MSc is the highest degree, then you need to evaluate only your MSc however as you have noted WES will request for FINAL SECONDARY SCHOOL RESULT iaatmguy: 3 Likes |

I and wifey have decided to give this a try having read through with interest how you help one another with guidance here. This is amazing. Keep it up guys. Good job! So she will be principal applicant. We want to start with degree assessments and IELTS. My confusions are these: 1.As a pharmacist will she do assessment for only her degree or WAEC should be assessed too? 2.I'm I going to have my degree assessment too and write IELTS with her? 3.If my WAEC needs to be assessed I remember having a mistake with my day of birth (January 10th instead of January 11th) on my WAEC certificate. What do I do about this pls? |

hollerbaby: I think it has been received. How do you confirm which document was received by WES? Because I had about 4 documents in transit from different institutions, how do I know which was received as this isn't indicated on my WES dashboard.? Awaiting your kind response. |

What is the step-by-step procedure to apply for Canada PR? Hi, I did the following Got my IELTS score. The Score was 9- 8–7.5–7.5 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry) - went here and checked my CRS score it was 478 for myself and 468 when I included my spouse ( my wife was pregnant at that time). Did my Education Credential Assessment from World Education Services at https://www.wes.org/ca/. I applied for this and wrote IELTS in parallel it took more than 30+ days to get the doc in hand. One I had both IELTS score and education assessment I was ready to apply for the PR. Applied for PR through express entry program at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada | Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada. Horrified to see my CRS score got dropped to Bleep points. Found out that since I had work experience among different NOC, CIC only took my recent NOC experience and reduced my points. Luckily got ITA in the next draw itself, minimum score was Bleep. Now it was the time to get all the required documents such as medical certificate for both my wife and myself. police certificate for both experience certificate for both. proof of funds statement. Submitted all documents and paid fee for PR processing and right for permanent residence. Once again horrified to see a message saying my application got cancelled after 3 weeks. The reason being I have not submitted documents for my new born baby since. The baby is only 1 month old when I submitted application for PR. I have foolishly mentioned I have minor son in family details then only applied PR for myself and my wife. ( I thought I would change application once I get documents for my baby). Reapplied express entry on the same day of rejection. Again got ITA the next day itself, the minimum score was 441. Got all documents for my baby. Resubmitted all the documents and repaid the PR processing fees for 3 ppl this time. Lesson learned, even if double / triple check everything something might always go wrong. Do not loose heart and keep at it. 32 Likes 1 Share |

Guys hi, has anyone used their cousin to fulfil the family relative criteria and it worked? I dont have siblings in Canada but i have a cousin who i grew up with and she's willing to help. Spoke to someone and I was told that i should just include it in my letter of explanation...is this possible? Thank you in advance. |

mannycrown: 1) Her assessment is to be done by PEBC as a Pharmacist if she wants to continue practice over there. And I don't PEBC will require WAEC. If she doesn't want to go tru the whole PEBC process for now, she can assess with other bodies, like WES shd also give her an equivalent of professional degree. If she is doing the WES option , then she also needs WAEC 2)Good idea, that will help boost Ur CRS 3) WAEC will be assessed if U r using WES, and I guess the mistake won't be a major issue as U can attach an affidavit / birth certificate/ declaration of age , the major issue wld have been if the mistake was in Ur year of birth. On a second thought U can use the ICES option to avoid all the WAEC wahala |

Hi. To claim points for sibling, you must be related by blood (from the same parents). Simply put, you cannot use your cousin as your cousin is not your sibling. kejismuse: 4 Likes |

@Mannycrown,if your wife's NOC as primary applicant falls under 3131(Pharmacist)her evaluation must be done by pebc not WES.I would advise you type pebc on the search engine and read previous posts on that. The pebc process takes time and you can get guidance from people that have done that by reading it up.Goodluck |
