Good question ...I just love the Global Version and want to avoid possible issues as much as I can. Issues such as vendors installing fake 'global roms' etc which might impede the device from receiving OTAs. Not saying that all global roms are fake though but I just want something I know a vendor has not tampered with at least. undecided

Good to be on the safe side

If you open the UI on phone browser the content is different from when u open it on PC browser, on the webui on pc there are mlre options, the only thing i don't like about it is the over heating and u can't select ur network type urself

But i do have a usb fan and power bank dat takes care of the over heating and it seems to be stable on 4g signal, for now no worries till i get better money take upgrade to a more powerful MiFi

Which do u recommend

The heating you talk about is of same level as every other mifi in the market, especially if you have it plugged to a charger while it's also in use. Also if your area of usage is within a room, a flat or your crib don't forget to set your coverage area to "short Wifi Coverage" under advanced settings inorder to maximize battery usage & further drop any heat.

There are several options if you do choose to go for something more powerful, depends on your budget.

@iliyande You are talking of not demarketing anybody's product but you make suggestive comments laced with biased opinion. You complain of the absence of hilink which is a Huawei software solution for their devices yet refer people to ZTE all in a bid to discourage people from using Harvilon products. You forget Harvilon also offer features the other brands are lacking.
What goes around, comes around. Last time I checked You were not forced to patronise anybody.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro get certified on EEC

29 August 2018

Total reader comments: 36 Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 series back in June, but there was no Note variant whatsoever, just the Redmi 6A and the Redmi 6 Pro (later arriving as Mi A2 Lite with stock Android).

Two phones just got certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia and by the looks of it, they are indeed the Redmi Note 6 and the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Both phones appeared under one listing with the model numbers M1806E7TG and M1806E7TH. This is not the first time these devices are getting certified - they already appeared at FCC and Taiwan’s NCC and will arrive with MIUI 9 out of the box and will offer all latest Wi-Fi, voice and data connectivity standards.

The Redmi Note 6 is expected to be the logical successor of the Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus , while the Redmi Note 6 Pro might be the alternative variant, similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro or the Redmi Note 5 AI Dual Camera.

The smartphone is expected to be priced at somewhere around 200 Euro (Rs.16,500) in the old continent.

They are only confusing to those who don't know how to pick a device and settle for it until it goes bad or missing.
