BascoVanVeli:The Rayon Sport of this season really amazed me. like WTH this was the same team Rivers United took the cleaners home & away last season. In all, they would be a stiff test for Enyimba but no a tough test. The Elephants just need to tweak some things so they can score more (I think their goal rate is lean) Meanwhile, how was the fan attendance today. 1 Like |

Odunayaw: Rivers didn't won them at home but lost away. We have to remember that they were young but now have been playing together for a while, even in CHAN. They were bound to improve. It was packed house btw. |

charlesemeka85: I knew him when he was 18 playing for Reading U18 when they were in the EPL. He was already 6"4 with legs like tree trunks. At this stage he was the highest goals scorer in the U18 scoring 3 hat tricks against Chelsea and Arsenal. He was simply unplayable then. His Mother is Ugandan if I'm right very very well balanced boy and respectful. He even spoke the little Ibo he knew to me. He was supposed to be called to the U20 he was willing and ready. Then the usual happened. |

1. English Premiership 2. English Championship 3. German Bundesliga 4. German 2nd Division 5. Spanish La Liga 6. Spanish 2nd Division 7. Italian Serie A 8. French Ligue 1 9. Belgian pro division 10. Portuguese league 11. Turkish league 12. Dutch Erevedisie This is where the bulk of players should be selected from. If the NFF Technical Committee knows their job (I stand to be corrected) They should tell Rohr to pick his players from the leagues above. A player who decides to go to China or Saudi Arabia is putting himself first before the National Team. The NFF should set up a data center to monitor players in the above leagues. Players will be invited based on stats related to performance and not on sentiments. |

safarigirl: Yeah Freddie Ladapo also scored for Plymouth but they still lost 3-2 to Millwall. As for Arsenal, they have been drawn-by, alongside other big guns, for this stage. |

Truidstar: Bros these things are not cast in stone. Players selection cannot be automated. The coaching crew will always invite players based on their discretion. |

gamaliel9: What I can glean from this clip. Dessers is a strong lad. Dessers is also a good finisher and (to me) most importantly his positioning is very good. However,it's a clip of his best performances across several matches, may be overly flattering. One to keep an eye on. 1 Like |

Icon4s: Bro, what really rankles me is that our players now settle for anything. Imagine players signing for clubs in Iraq and India this week alone. These players start scoring week in week out, agents and press start putting pressure for invites. We should have a minimum standard. Its what obtains in saner climes. 1 Like |

Truidstar: Sorry bro musa will always be called up because he keeps on performing even if he is at Saudi Arabia You don't know better than the coach, the coach understand the player move to that country league If a Brazil and a Portugal and a Belgium can take Chinese based players to the World Cup then who are we ? Brazil named their recent squad for the friendlies and I can still find Renato Augusto in the team who is a Chinese based 2 Likes |

Please can the NPFL order that all the NPFL stadiums' pitches with synthetic grass be converted to the kind of hybrid pitch we have at the Enyimba stadium? Men the balls were just rolling to the instructions of the kickers. No bumpiness, no slowing down due to drag by the pitch, no sand patches. Plus it rained heavily 2 hours before kick off and only stopped 1 hour before kick off time, yet no single sign of water on the pitch. At a point in the game I forgot I was even watching a game involving a Nigerian club being played at an NPFL venue. This order might not be immediate. They can be given a 2-3 years ultimatum. Any venue that does not have the natural grass or hybrid synthetic pitch must not be used for the league games. 1 Like |

Icon4s:I say amen to this! Full synthetic should be relegated to NNL sides meanwhile, Enyimba did a poor job with the lightning, patches of darkness here and there and no lights in the stands |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 10:43am On Aug 30, 2018 |
Odunayaw: I noticed the poor lightings too both on the pitch and in the stands. For the lighting in the stands, I understand it is because finishing touches are still being made which includes the lighting at the stand. But for the flood lights mennn... they really need to do something about it. Either by providing more flood light stands or by changing the lighting bulbs of the existing ones. |

andrew444: Like I always say, u hardly understand simple English. The post u quoted is self explanatory but ur poor comprehension ability wouldn't let u understand it. Now let me break it down to ur level; Icon4s wrote that I was rooting for him because he scored, then I said No, that the rooting started long before the list was released by Rohr, then, he said he didnt see it when I did, so I had to go back to bring up our(u and i) conversation sometime in the past, to show him that the rooting didn't start yesterday and that it was not borne out of his lone strike yesterday. So, it was quite funny seeing u make the same mistake I corrected Icon4s of, in the same post u quoted. Bro like someone said the other day, stop embarrassing urself here, so that people dont start seeing u as a straw man. Any post wey u no understand, u jump am. OK? |
