@aussy4life. I appreciate you. I have the VETASSESS address now. I am actually considering HR adviser, but there is a restriction placed on the visa type. Only 407, 489(S/T) and TSS(M) is available. Hence , I am thinking of Management consultant to enable me apply for either 189 or 190. My concerns are; 1.) Should I nominate HR adviser which happens to be my experience strenght with visa 489 in mind? 2.) Is it possible to get PR visa later while living in Australia if I applied for 489 now? Thanks. |

connectgt: I will suggest you search for the ANZSCO code job description for both occupations and decide which matches your work experience the most. I am guessing it will be HR adviser from your explanation. VETASSESS is a very strict body so it's better to choose the straightforward option It's better you go for 489, it will eventually lead to a PR after 2 years of working in the region that nominated you. Read about the 489 visa it's not bad at all 1 Like |

Hi guys, I already posted on this thread sometime back. Please, Biko, someone respond to a sister. Will my CISA Certificate qualify for AQF Diploma under ACS? If I need more points for qualification, can I apply to VETASSESS to have my ACA (ICAN) assessed as a degree? Thanks |

Fomskie: ACS is very specific on what certificates they recognise and what level of the AQF they equate to. So check the ACS hand book. However, you can explore the RPL route. Consider your years of experience on the related job. Then give up some years (6), in place of a degree in ICT and related degrees. Like I took the RPL route and my degree is in English. So I had to give up 6 years of my experience to get 15 points. I didn't assess my certifications just listed them. |

@ogbevireo, thanks for your response. Please can you help with your copy of RPL? I need a guide; I understand their stand on plagiarism. |

ogbevireo: Fomskie: I concur. Also note that CISA is not listed as one of the recognized certifications (based on 2017 ACS guide though) |

I would advise that you re-write the exams even if you are requesting for remarking of your writing scripts. This days, the result of the remarking takes months so as to avoid delay. simia: |
