if Oneplus start selling officially in US, dey cnt really make a dent in Apple n Sammy market duopoly.. I go like see how they scale thru wif patent trolls n security issues

Apple & Samsung, those 2 be like zuma rock for West. I bet those Americans won't really want another non-indigenous tech firm holding sway. If espionage doesn't work they'll use patent to follow you.

See how they ridiculed Huawei & ZTE. Still waiting for China to clap back on that beef

Yes you are right, that is why samsung keeps going the extra mile to make there prices worth it....

And dey wud need to do more next year

But still,a flagship experience is like no other,

Pray somone doesnt lend u his samsung s9+ to use for a week grin

You wud ask, abeg wetin be xiaomi sef grin

grin grin $1k no be beans na, in fact I'll be disappointed if am not blown away.

Wetin remain to add for the flagship again sef? Maybe under-screen display. But they'll definitely run out of ideas in their bid to justify the humongous pricetag.

Frankly speaking if indeed all brands are priced similarly over 90% go rush Apple cheesy

Xiaomi flagships are not doing bad too when compared with Sammy. At least the price difference should be put into consideration. If Xiaomi were to offer a 1k flagship it'll pack the same punch too

You must be referring to people like me and you that do tinker with our phones. Sadly the majority are folks that just make calls, browse, use social media and snap pics/videos etc that's why Apple is still on top. That buttery smoothness of iOS is all it takes to keep them hooked.

Leave those sanctimonious Americans. Their propaganda against Asian tech is strong. I was referring to Europe where they're open minded & other markets where Sammy and Apple hold sway except the US.

I found their UI to be so and so few times I used a Sammy , AMOLED display on a 2k panel was gorgeous though. Personally the only thing I like about them is the hardware.

My brother if you know the billions spent on market survey & R & D by Apple you would know that those restrictions are not as bad as we the free folks think. Since it's still working for them we can't argue against it.

At least their annual balance sheet says they're doing something right year in, year out for over a decade

Samsung is a fucking conglomerate... Their semi conductor business require lotta efforts in r&d to make sure they are front runners along with TSMC... Do u knw Global Foundries dropped existing development of 7nm n canclled 5nm fab processing.. Na sammy n tsmc dey rule as of now
Google and sammy are r&d kings and they have diversified results to show for it.. Apple, all dia r&d point at profit, profit n profit

Exactly my point. With Apple's networth its expected they spend more on market survey, R & D and marketing. Probably the reason they refused to change too drastically coz they're working with acquired reliable data. The truth is people will talk about the restrictions of iOS but it's ease of use suits the majority that refused to switch.

Won't really call our convo an arguement sha. More like exchange of views smiley

Cheers

Gptech:

Saw similar stuff with a Redmi note 5a prime some days back, bootloader showing locked but when rebooting, it was showing unlocked. I already unlocked the bootloader some months back and was surprised to see it was showing locked when viewed from developer options. Well I still went ahead and rooted the phone since TWRP was already flashed, there shouldn't be a problem flashing customer roms too I believe, though haven't done any research regarding this.

My Oga Gptech, thanks for your contribution though I didn't get the chance to inform you about it. I just hope it works since I've got twrp installed n rooted. I really appreciate. Thanks ;DI hope I make a reboot and get bootloader unlocked grin
