The truth be told, MTN is bleeding Nigeria economy due to high level malpractice in collaboration with unscrupulous regulatory staff of Ministries, agencies and parastatals.

If mtn is bleeding nigeria what can you say about dangote,,,,,,,one thing in nigeria is that some people are above the law,,, i think mtn & diamond stepped on the wrong toes, thats why they are suffering.......just take a look at oando and japaul.....anyway this is naija not all malpractice is a malpractice

...and less I forget, ADD that to this brief rundown;

-AIICOs current P/BV is approx 0.49.
...the interpretation of this is that should the asset of the company be spilt and sold off today, an investor will get N1 for every 49k invested. Which would translate to an approx 104% ROI.
- The near 93% growth in EPS from 14k to 27k over H1 2017/2018.
...by inference, this means that the company(AIICO) has already made close to 90% of its earnings for 2017 just midway thru 2018 (H1 2018)
- A 50% growth in return per equity stake in the coy (ROE)
- Improved Equity multiplier, profit margin, enterprise value, debt to equity, combined ratio and ROAA.

Assuming a zero % growth for H2 2018, and using TTM EPS of 31k @ 14%, AIICO should sell for NO less than N2.15

Technically, the stock is now also at a good position.
based on moving averages, 20 sma is now ahead of its 50 sma, while both 20 sma and 50 sma is well ahead of its 200 sma.
...Again the simple interpretation of this is that AIICO is clearly showing a BULLISH pattern both for the short and long term.
The last indicator is a good confirmation of entrance of new funds, likely PMs and FMs alike.

NOTE: NOT A BUY recommendation !!
...due diligence is still advised as always pls.

Thanks for this input Sir OGG. Good to have u back.
I appreciate u!!!! I bought @ 0.57k after ur input then. Thank God I managed to control my emotions and urge to sell before now.
God bless u Sir and all those helping us to make some money on the nse.

Okay. The appointed first lady was the former first lady of Ekiti State, Mrs. Angela ADEBAYO. Her choice of selection may have political undertone afterall.

A very Good afternoon to Everyone in the house. I would like to commend every contributor on this forum. Amazing work you are all doing. I've been following this thread since 2005 (perhaps even earlier sef not sure now) but from the days of Dexter, CP, Mercylicious, BigAss, MyJoy etc and have gathered tremendous amount of knowledge; so much that if I had to pay for I wouldn't be able to afford. Many Thanks again. God bless your generous hearts.

I have immense respect for fxuser, OGG, wanajo, oga Emma and CP - Such invaluable assets you are. Hyness and parisfran are also such commendable women.

@ DeRuggedProf pls are you Dexter? If you're not you sure do sound like him

Also pls what's your advice on FO. Bought at 57 or thereabout; selling now is just real gbese. I'm trying not to frek out but mhen!
Advice from anyone pls.
Many thanks in advance

It may sound funny but as far as am concerned, otedola has removed his hands from that company not until another investor pump in money, I can see the share in the region of 10- 16 it was before. I predicted this to my friend when he sold 15% of his holdings though I was able to jaaa at 42 no loss though. So my brother the choice is yours. The following points must be in your mind:
the company that has its revenue from power and suddenly wants to sell off all the sub
What will happen to them if all the sub are sold off and nothing again to give them revenue?
If am in your shoe, I will bail out for now and re enter lower
