Hi everyone, I want to renew my visitor visa, it expired last year June. My son, who was born in the uk while I was studying and I travelled together and came back. Currently, I have a 5month old and would want to apply for her as well. My husband will not be traveling with us. The problem is I'm an entrepreneur so I don't receive salaries and sometimes I have more cash at hand than at the bank. How will I sort it please? |

Olugerm: young man, I was once desperate like you but ended up putting myself in a tight corner 14 years ago. it was by the GRACE of God that I was able to secure a UK visit visa sometime this year after reading advice's from this forum. Just relax and build yourself just like I did, instead complicating issues for yourself cos any information you give to UK immigration can hardly be withdrawn. Just my little advice . 1 Like |

Happy New month my great people. Please I need una support. My uncle submitted his application (representative of overseas bussiness). He submitted for his wife and the children. They have all been to UK before and all still have valid 2 years tourist visa. It's been 2months now without news from the embassy. We have tracked TSL for the status but still not ready. Can anyone advise on what step to take as this waiting time is unbearable. Thanks |

boleswagg: There is nothing like visiting visa extension outside the UK. If your husband does not use the visa before its expire, he would need to apply for a new visa just like anyone else. Same procedures and provide documents relating to his upcoming travel to the UK. |

I am asking on behalf of a friend, his conundrum is that, he wants to relocate to the UK for greener pastures and better education like most Nigerians and UK seems to be his best option because he has family there to accommodate him. That is why I am asking the house for an affordable college that accepts international students. He doesn’t have the funds to use an agent either. Also I am hearing one doesn’t get a work permit for college programs in UK. Is this true? Please anyone with advice/experience on how is relocate to the UK via college should share. I will greatly appreciate. |

OFFICIALAEL: In my humble opinion, the visa that your friend is applying for (Student Visa) is not appropriate for someone who is looking to relocate. What is the current status of your friend? What kind of job is he doing right now? What industry? You'll need to provide some more info, so the gurus in the house like justwise and ekpotek can help/advice. 1 Like |

Hello, He has a Bsc 2:2 degree in Economics. Working as a safety officer in a construction firm with over two years work experience. He is considering taking an apprenticeship program in Social work or welding and fabrication. What do you suggest for someone in his situation? Thanks |

Aibisoye0: I have similar travel history with you. I also applied for UK visa about 3 weeks to travel date last year, but from the advice of folks here, I did fast track (paid extra) and I picked my visa on the 13th working day after application. I applied on 30 Sept 2017, to travel 20th October. Picked my passport on 17th or 18th October. |

All documents that support your case and situations as a genuine applicant. Explain anything that you feel can't be explained in the application in a cover letter. |
