There's an error in my hubby's year of birth on his WAEC cert. It's 1984 instead of 1985 and it has been sent to WES before we noticed the error.

Should he send an affidavit and his birth cert to WES? Or how else can the issue be resolved?

From your explanation above, I can deduce that your 441 is a projection predicated on your hubby ECA report. If that is the case, then your chances of getting ITA before your profile expires will be greatly determined by your hubby ECA.
Will the ECA be ready on or before your profile expiration date? Your answer to this will point to your expected outcome.
Don't delete it just let it run its full cycle.
Goodluck!

I'm not sure the ECA will be ready before the expiration which will be on the 29th of Sept.

And... I can't update the ECA on EE without having it at hand abi? That will amount to misrepresentation?

Tie breaking rule explanation

If I have a profile that I opened on the 20th of June and at present my score is standing at 441 and the draw holds and the draw score is 441 and the tie breaking date is June 21, since I entered the pool before 21 June, I will receive ITA, but if my friend with the same 441 score entered the pool on the 22nd of June, he will not receive ITA.

Sooooooo.dont delete your profile, the next draw date is September 5, so update your profile to reflect your present situation. Keep your fingers crossed and wait for the profile to expire on its own.

I hope you understand my explanations.

Thank you. I appreciate.

Good people,
I want to start this journey by writing IELTS exams first. I found out there are two sides of IELTS exams - Academic and General.
My question:
Which one do I prepare for? Academic or General. For federal skilled workers program.

Your usual kind response is appreciated.

Regards

Writing IELTS first is not really the appropriate starting point. Reason being that it is valid for only 2 years. Getting your ECA done is a much better starting point because this has a validity of 5 years.

I believe you already know your estimated CRS score by using the CRS calculator on CIC website. This is the absolute first step as it lets you know your eligibility and your likelihood of getting an ITA.

IELTS for express entry is GENERAL.

I think a PGD or Masters is a good idea. It's financially demanding but we have to keep our eyes fixed on the goal. Personally, I have more confidence in an additional degree than in PNP or French.

Hmmm really looking like it now o...just want to see if I could get an idea of my NOC being preferred or not...before starting the long journey of PGD or my CIPM. Thanks again.

Good Morning House. I am a registered Nurse with RM and RPHN. I also have a bachelor degree in nursing(BNSc). Should I use WES or IQAS for my evaluation? Which of these will give me the maximum score? Thanks

IQAS
You are going to have more questions so its best for you to start from page 1.

Dear friends,
I want to make enquiries about the process.
Will my payslip be requested of me to show that I have been working?
I heard that you will not be granted PPA if your payslip or your salary account shows that you are servicing a loan or that you collected loan from your workplace. Kindly clarify
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by smslive2: 12:17pm On Sep 01, 2018
Which one is PPA again?
CIC expects you to show a POF that is readily availablr and unencumbered.
In some cases you might get ADR for pay slips and statements of account.

It starts from the day you do your medicals. Your COPR will show when you did your medicals and a year from that is how long it is valid for.
Mummychichi:

Hi chigzie, I think the medical should ordinarily start counting from the day you passed (not sure though). Please can you share why your application was rejected?

Please can someone help me understand WES processing better.
After my school replied the verification mail, my status got updated from "on hold" to "in progress" (We have received your documents. We are reviewing your documents. We are evaluating your documents. You do not need to do anything at this time) on the 28/8/2018. However, by the following day the date of 'status last updated' changed to 29/8/2018 and this continued up till yesterday when the date also changed to 31/8/2018.
I am tired seeing changing 'status last updated' without any change in status.

What I was expecting Was The estimated date of my ECA report but I am seeing nothing of such nature. Please is that the procedure? If it is, when will I get the estimated date. I am tired of waiting for WES o.

You can do BOTH at the same time. There is no hard and fast rules about which comes first

Just be patient, mine took almost two weeks before I got my completion date. I had to send messages on Facebook before they finally responded and updated my status

Yes there's no rule. However, the wiser decision is to do ECA first. If you know, you know.

Thanks for the response. If you wouldn't mind, lemme engage yourself further.
Do you mean 2 weeks (working days only) before completion date??
Was the completion date within the 20 days or beyond??
I have sent facebook and twitter messages, fax and even called them, yet they tell me it can't be expedited.

Don't go that route as it will be detected because the ECA report has date on it that will surely differs from the day you entered presumed ECA info.
I fear your efforts will still amount to nothing as your application will either be rejected only, or both rejected and misrepresentation slammed on you. I hope you know the implication?
Goodluck!

For those people who used gift deed, please don’t land without your POF ooo. You will need it here at least for the first few months. Everything here is all about $$$. They didn’t ask for mine at the port of entry but I can’t even imagine myself landing with “nothing”. Please, the proof of funds is very important. You will enjoy this place if you have $$$.

Send them a message on Twitter and ask for your expected completion date, they'll update your profile. Give or take your completion date will be 20 days from when they received your verification documents.
