Another loan move to Leipzig would have been okay with an option to buy tbh. I don't know why Marco Silva was insistent on keeping Lookman even when a third Leipzig bid of 25 million pounds came in for the lad. Everton were holding out for 28 million. Leipzig increased their bids twice from 15 million to about 20 milliom and finally to 25 million which was close enough to their valuation of Lookman. Everton have got Bernard, Richarlison and Walcott. Onyekuru is out on loan and highly rated and valued by Everton. I wonder what their plan for Lookman actually is if they won't give him enough games. Well shaa, as always time will tell. safarigirl: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Fikayo Tomori putting in a decent shift as his side, Derby County leads 1-0 away from home in the Championship vs Hull. Semi Ajayi slots in at DM for Rotherham in a 4-5-1 vs Wigan away. Sammy Ameobi scores as Bolton Currently play 2-2 in the Championship vs Preston North End. Nmecha is NOT on the bench. Ebere Eze starts from the right in a 4-4-2 for QPR in their away game at Viv Otabor's Birmingham. Otabor starts from the bench. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Thanks goodness. At least Lookman played 33 mins off the bench today. He came in for Walcott as Everton played out a 1-1 score draw with Billing's Huddersfield. Billing played the whole 90+ mins and had a goal to show for his very decent midfield showings. 1 Like 1 Share |

Fikayo Tomori helped Derby to a 2-1 away win at Hull in the Championship. He played the whole 90 and got booked. Ebere Eze played the whole 90 in QPR's goalless away draw at Birmingham. Solomon Viv-Otabor came on in the 68th min for Birmingham playing 22+ mins. 1 Like 1 Share |

safarigirl: There are two types of loans moves. One where you are highly regarded but there are limited opportunities in the first team and the club is trying to nurture your career to the next level. Second one is where you are not regarded and they are just marketing you to make some money before vthe get rid of you. If they can. You decide which one Omeruo fall into. Then again there are youth players who have not really smelled the first team but are in £20k a week. Its part of the game, I do not feel sorry for them. |

BascoVanVeli: The boy acknowledges his forefathers from Ngor Okpala in Imo State and he is open to repping Nigeria. During the world cup, Nigeria was the only nation he sent Goodwill messages on his verified Twitter account despite the Danes presence in Russia. The ball is in our court. Invite Anyanwu today, and him go hop into the next flight down to Nigeria. KPOM!!! Just look at the guys(Onazi, Joel, Ogu) we Parade ahead of such a talent. If I lambast Rohr now, dem go say I too harsh. Make I just sidon dey look for now to give dem(Rohr and co) Benefit of the doubt |

BascoVanVeli: As in the kind of bond between him and Denmark is like a combo or Ionic, Covalent bond and Araldite. That guy is a Dane. But since there is no harm in trying, the NFF should make an attempt. |

Icon4s: Neglect some posts. He has no reason for saying that, that post reeks of emotions, ignorance and insecurity. He doesn't even know how good Tomori is at present to merit a call up. I doubt he follows the boy, bar the review the Nerdy boy gave. Tomori aint good enough for now, there are better players to be considered. |

the 2 new additions i need in super eagles midfield for now are billing and ejaria. the duo are worthy replacements/understudy to ogu, onazi and mikel obi(still needed in the team though because of his leadership qualities and experience). billing and ejaria seem more ready than our over hyped nwakali |

BascoVanVeli: But seriously don't you think some 'local politics' may be preventing Rohr from inviting more diaspora born and bred players for the national team The core of our team is made up of foreign born players, inviting more foreign born players to fill up the midfield and attack would speak very badly of sports development in our country Rohr as a foreigner maybe trying very hard not to belittle Nigerian football development and provoke insinuations that players born outside Nigeria are better than those born and bred in Nigeria 1 Like |
