I have watched the video & seen the bishop's apology, there's no admission of wrongdoing or guilt. Consider the use of 'Maybe' in his apology and he did the right thing to apologize in light of public sentiment.

Bishop Ellis did nothing wrong & it's wise, sensible to put the matter to rest.
